CWCHEAT 0.2.2 REV. A:
- [ALL] fixed a bug in the difference search which could lead to an evaluation error making the difference function unusable in the case that the game allocates more than entire user ram - 50kbs
- [ALL] Removed allocation of user ram for the difference search. This should increase compatibility with never games and reduced the plugin size of about 200bytes.
- [ALL] Various optimizations in the controller management in the menus, additionally some menus now auto repeat just like most. This allowed to reduce the size of the plugin of 632bytes
- [GAME] Added multilevel pointer codes. This will allow you to track a point in ram by going trough a series of pointer like those seen in god of war. this is the code type:
- 0×6aaaaaaa 0xvvvvvvvv
- 0xqqqxnnnn 0xiiiiiiii
- 0xSwwwwwww 0xSwwwwwww
- a = the starting pointer
- v = the value to store at the found point at the end
- q = the offset to add to a each loop(x4) most probably you want this to be zero in this case
- x = pointer type (check the normal pointers)
- i = offset to add/subtract (depending to x) from the last pointed area in the pointed chains to find were to put v
- n = number of times to point (you must start counting from one, so if the level of pointer you want to do is 2 you put here 2 if it’s 3 you put 3, the first pointer is considered first level, so if you put two offsets in the third line the value you need is 3)
- S = offset type to find next pointer (2 for normal offset(+w), 3 for inverse offset(-w))
- w = offset from the last pointed area to find the next pointer
- [GAME] some performance optimizations to avoid unnecessary repeated loops and assignments in the pointer codes
- [ALL] reworked, yes again, the db downloader now the 3.x version is libhttp based so it should work better. Plus various enhancements were added and some additional checks and functions. No changes for the 1.x version.
- [ALL] removed some repeated code this reduced the size of the plugin of 916bytes
- [ALL] now last text file opened is reopened when you go to the text reader

how do i get this to work on 390m33-2?
DL the program and check out the “README-EN.txt” file. The instructions are ARIGHT there, and it takes about 5 seconds to do.
ive used cw cheat for about a year now. and ive copyed over the prx’s as usual but nothing happens when i hold the slect button
you need to use the files inside the INSTALL folder not the 371 this worked fine for me on 3.90M33-2 and on pops titles
all i have are text files in that folder.
can someone upload it to a zip?
This didnt work for me either, and yes I used the files from the INSTALL folder, pressing select button does nothing, I went back to 3.80 M33-5 without changing any CWCheat stuff and now it works…
yeah, this is the best!!!
Damn thats a lot of improvements over the last few versions… so many things just to improve the user experience… I must say, really, really amazing work.
Cool APP has someone found out cheats for the eu version of god of war?
you can always check the database for more cheats that are updated then add it to your cheats. Its hard at first to find out but once you get used to it on putting cheats it will be easy.
it comes with a database downloader or you can download it from the cwcheat site
I remember back in the day it was appropriate to say RTFM. It no longer applies. PPL don’t have the skills to write documentation. It’s more of a youtube society. Gone is the day of saying IMHO RTFM.
What type of cheat codes does this use gameshark, action replay, code breaker etc. i ask because i want to add some cheat codes u may have missed
aight im thinking nite pr and cheatcw or w/e are the same
could someone please tell how to activate CWCHEAT 0.2.2 REV. A, I have already installed it but nothing is happening?
once its all set up in the seplugins folder on your ms. go to your rocovery menu and to plugins and enable.
go to your game and hold select and it will pop up.
Props to Weltall and people who can’t seem to get it to work, you will need to switch off your PSP and go into recovery mode and enable it in the “Plugins” part.
For those of you running on M33 3.71 or later, you’ll need to copy the “3.71 folder” to your memory card that came with the download here and don’t forget to delete the old “se folder” before doing so. Now go into your PSP’s memory card and open up the “pops.txt” file and add in the line “ms0:/seplugins/cwcheatpops.prx” so now you should have two lines in the pops.txt file that looks like this:
ms0:/seplugins/cwcheatpops.prx
ms0:/seplugins/popsloader.prx
And now just reboot, go into recovery mode and enable the plugins.
The readme could do with a little more work to make it more noob friendly but if you know what you’re doing then it’s pretty much self explanatory.
When you say “se folder” do you mean config.se in flash1, cos I already formatted flash1, I’ve even replaced the whole seplugins folder on MS, but CWCheat for 3.90 M33-2 doesn’t work for PSP games.
I kept the files as they were downgraded to 3.80 M33-5 and now CWCheat works, I keep the files as they are upgrade to 3.90 M33-2 and CWCheat doesnt work again, so please explain what it is I’m doing wrong? it works fine on 3.80 and not at all on 3.90 (only tested on PSP games)
This isn’t working on 3.90 M33-2, I had to downgrade to 3.80 M33-5 for it to work, as pressing select under 3.90 does nothing, leaving the files as they were and downgrading CWCheat works again and I’ve upgraded/downgraded just to test, its a no-go for normal PSP games on 3.90 m33-2 (haven’t tested pops)
works perfectly for me there must be something bad on your side (eg you are using 3.71 files)
I was using DarkAlex’s built in downgrader/upgrader to get to 3.90 M33-2 then applying the 1.5 addown, I can hold the select button for 30sec and nothing happens, I’m using the files in the INSTALL folder, not INSTALL_371 folder
That should have been D_A’s built in downloader/upgrader
