Team C+D shocked the PSP world when they released the first tools to ultimately revive or downgrade any PSP. While many similar Pandora software solutions have been developed; Quake of SubZero DeZigns takes us back to where it all started—wrapping a GUI around Team C+D’s command line utilities.

You still need a Pandora Battery. If you don’t have one search the net on how manually make a pandora battery. Now with the newer versions of the PSP slim it’s said to have a new mother board in them that renders the use of the pandora battery unbricker.

the new motherboard only prevents from softmodding the battery. you can still hardmod and you can still use pandora on them

In a way, yes. This program will turn your memory stick into a ‘pandoras memory stick’, however, you MUST still have the battery.

Make a ‘Pandoras Battery’ with the following technique: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=how+to+make+a+pandora+battery
, and yes, you can hack psp’s. Take note: You can’t return your battery to normal after that method though!

best of luck, and don’t come blaming/crying to anyone if you screw it up! As usual, do this at your own risk!

Hey uncle thats not true you can turn it back to a normal battery all u have to do is take the batterey out plug your psp with the pwoer code turn it on then run the pandora battery program again and choose the option to turn it back to normal thats how i did it

Comment by uNCLEsAM098
2008-03-23 22:24:47

We’re talking about 2 different things. There is a way through coding to change the battery to a pandoras battery, but if you don’t have an already hacked psp to do that, then you have to cut open the battery and change it physically to be a pandoras battery. From there, I don’t think you can.

In basic, you’re talking about coding. I’m talking about the physical hardware.

Comment by Foolmonkey
2008-03-23 23:09:36

if you’re not retarded, yes, you can change a hardmod back. BUT you must NOT cut the pin but LIFT it, then afterwards solder it back down. that is how i did it

This is F***ing Stupid, It doesnt do anything. It just like any other GUI people make for the Pandora’s setup installer. I find it 10x easier to just use regular Despertar del Cementerio. Better yet just copy and paste files from Universal Unbricker to the PSP.

2008-03-24 08:29:28

lol i doubt he would say that. anyways its a cso file that installs everthing on your psp so you don’t have to do anything. but unfortunately you need a cfw psp to run it, not ofw. there is a gui out there that allows you to install the files to make a magic memory without custom firmware but. you would still have to buy a pandora battery, or hard mod one yourself

Comment by lpopman
2008-03-24 09:07:56

That’s the point I was trying to make. Desparter is not the be-all or end-all of pandora tools.

Oh, and desparter does not come as a cso, you must be confusing it with UPMS which comes desparter.

Personally, I use desparter to mod PSPs.

Stupid lag, Got posted twice.
As for some of you. The files are from desperatar del cemenaterio.

All files made from a

Original 1.52 PSP on 3.52 M33-4

Tested PSP 2.50 TA-86 – Or something(2.50 or 2.60) like that.

150 Downgrades to 1.50
371 installs to 3.71 M33-2
380 installs to 3.80 M33-5

3.80 CFW M33-5 Has the ability to download CFW from the net in recovery.

This is just a front end to them files. No need to open CMd and have to type anything. All you have to do is
Click,
enter,
click,
Y enter,
remove disable – insert enable,
copy,
remove disable – insert enable,
click,
remove disable – insert enable

Hey guys, one of my mates has a 3.71 phat psp and ive got a 3.90 m33-2 psp, is there some way of downgrading the 3.71 psp, using his battery and somehow changing it back without opening the battery, also does making a magic memory stick break it, or make it unusable in a psp?

Comment by Quake
2008-03-25 02:18:54

Depends on the Battery. As far as I know. A 1800mah can be made and unmade with CFW PSP. Use your PSP to (Software) make the Pandora(Jig Kick) Battery and use it to unmake it.

UNDO BATTERY
Remove the Battery.

Start your PSP with the power adapter.
In xmb mode put Battery into the PSP.
Run the Battery eboot.
Press Square [] option.

For this You’ll need the other files from the Prometheus project of Pandora Battery. Check site for that. Downgraders.

Hello, we got it downgraded to 3.90 m33-2 successfully, but after i used the pandora, i booted the psp with my normal battery and the magic sticj in at same time and the indicators started flashing, i thought all was good, we restored the pandora fine. My battery jst constantly says 7% battery life and stuck at 1 bar. It was on the charger for 2 hours, the time remaining jumped to about 13 hours (its always wrong :P) but just says 7% all the time, im planning in draining it too see what happens, ive also tried making a random thing, and a restore of the backup ive made on the ms. This mean i should invest in a new battery?

Take the Pandoras(Jig Kick) battery out. Remove Power cord. Remove Mem stick. Set aside Mem stick. Insert Power cord and turn on. Wait. Goto system settings / battery information. Insert Battery. See if it charges then.

If the battery is a Pandora(Jig Kick) Battery. You can not boot with it. You have to boot from Power cord or another battery. After doing so. You can then insert the battery and undo the Soft Mod Pandora(Jig Kick) Battery.

Comment by Quake
2008-03-26 11:24:38

Really? Must be something that wasn’t included in the files that I have gotten a few months back. Cause my TA-86 3.90 M-2 sits on a black screen when battery is inserted with no power cord.

So who’s wrong or should I say: With the most recent pandora battery softmod maker has that fixed.

15 minutes later and I’m still sitting on a black screen with only the pandora battery inserted. Go figure.

Even so, I aint gonna check to see if you’re right. This battery that I have is a Pandora Battery ONLY! So far it’s paid for itself and plus some. ;-) $$$$ To CFW ppl’s PSP’s. And I aint referring to friends either.
