Sony PSP firmware 3.93 is now available via Network Update, and of course, we got it below for ya too. The update seemingly isn’t much; quoting John Koller –
…users of the PSP Internet Radio feature will find 20 new internet radio players to enjoy. The new players are organized into more specific styles of music so that PSP users can easily find what they are looking for and listen to their favorite genres.
And the usual — expanded support for PLAYSTATION Network titles.

GOW was short because of the size limitations of a UMD. I would prefer they were a little shorter than keep seeing the same regurgitated bullshit that companies like EA keep putting out for their NFS series. I don’t get this God of War being short crap. I’ve finished plenty other supposedly bigger games in a quicker time and never felt the urge to go back to them again like I do with God of War… That game was quality from start to finish.

I have custom firmware, AND a 4GB memory card, and I havent once used my PSP to play ISOs of PSP games. I do use it to play ROMs systems long dead, use the GPS functions that are normally locked out, and run diagnostics like a mac address changer for when I have to replace the wlan card.
SOOO if there were 1st party ways to do these things, I would be happy to accept them, but there aren’t… so yeaaaa…

Oh sorry… I did buy the GOW game and would by another one if they made a second version for the PSP even though it was short. I don’t mind paying for “good game” but I’m sick of paying a premium price for the same shit they just stamp a new name on.

Well if remote play improves, I’d just have a larger HD installed in my PS3, and then stream more music and more video from it to my PSP when I’m away on the road or at work. No people do care or would care more about remote play when it becomes more robust.

i just buy the japanese psp games. US games kinda suk, well maybe tetris aint so bad. Ill only dl a game if i cant buy it or the stream comes out the day before the store gets it and i want to try it. the latest cool jp game is Tales of destiny 2. I wish US had the ports for jp games the tales that US had was soo boring.
I prefer US games in general. Burnout Legends and God of War have got more play on my PSP than anything from the japanese. Most of the japanese games I tend to play are usually more US style anyways such as Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops. Cannot stand japanese RPG’s, both the gameplay in those and the art style’s are terrible.
Just wait for a bigger Sony Official, then we’ll get a nicer CFW update. 4.00 is a myth, get over it.

Version 4.00 will be a reality…and it most likely will have a lot of extra features, for the Slim PSP anyway… They are doing their best to make it hacker proof (exploits and such, probley never will be Pandora proof) and taking their time to see no glitches arise…like in FW 3.71.
I wouldnt be surprised if a siginificant # PS3 firmware update was made available on the same day/week. It would make a lot of sense to combine the two into some 2nd great launch. Mabye they are working on PS2 remote play? That would be worth going official for a while…

I didn’t update, I’m on 3.90 m33-2 and I could download radio players and they worked! So I don’t think you really need to upgrade to use the radio players
