greg | March 18, 2008
One of the most simplest effectual homebrew apps for the PSP — Mediumgauge’s PSP Filer. Now sitting at version 4.9.
You already know what it’s all about; but if you’re a new reader –
Mediumgauge’s PSP file management homebrew app for managing both files and directories on your memory stick, UMD drive, and flash0/flash1. PSP Filer also includes a set of integrated applications — rip UMDs directly to your memory stick, view pictures, text & binary files — WAV playback, read-only RAR support… And much, much more…

PSP Filer 4.9 changelog:
- added Bulgarian mode.
- added a feature to change length of drawing file name (short, middle, long).
- removed a feature to mark/unmark all of sub-folder’s files by analog left/right.
- changed to ignore extract-memory-size written in a RAR file because Filer could not extract it that expects more than 22MB.
- fixed a bug that Filer could not play low sampling rate WAV files correctly.

Bulgarian …. humpf.
Phukum!
I would like to suggest 1 useful feature. To copy/move files between internal and external MS. Internal MS is MS on the PSP, as for external MS, it is a MS connected to the USB port of the PSP using MS adaptor.
That be a cool idea … but i think there need to be some hardware modification needed to make it happen. but then again who knows … maybe a rig up thumb drive to connect to the psp might work who knows
this is def one of the most usefull programs on the psp
I see above that it has a background image (space universe). I am wondering how to do this? Since I only see a black background on mine. Thanks in advance.
