Sushi Rubik v1.2: Virtual Rubik’s Cube
greg | March 17, 2008
Team Sushi has released a smooth-runnin’ homebrew rendition of a virtual Rubik’s Cube for the PSP.
For whatever reason you’re unfamiliar with the classic “Rubik’s Cube” game; here’s the quick ‘n dirty… A standard 3×3x3 cube has 9 colours for each of its 6 faces. The puzzle is solved when you have each face one solid colour.
Have fun figuring it out. Kudos on the release, Team Sushi.

Features:
- 3×3×3 classic Rubik’s Cube simulator
- default controls can update all but back face without rotating, with two alternate sets of controls.
- undo/redo all moves
- save/load current cube in progress
- timed challenge from a scrambled cube, and freestyle solving modes
- recorded high scores for timed challenge, compare with your best time
- beginners solution style autosolve
- 4 visualizations of cube state for a background
- estimate of moves remaining for a beginner’s solution
- animated rotations
- works in French or English

good
Hmmm… doubt I would play it, but very interesting none the less.
How To play it in my psp my firmware is 3.71 m33-4 and has 1.5 add on. Can You tell me where to put it?
did you try putting it in the “game150″ folder?
lets see Asians beat this in 15 seconds lmao. anyways cool release Team Sushi!
“9 colours for each of its 6 faces” ?
uh, good luck solving that cube
lol…never noticed that typo :D
Great work btw.
good idea but controling this is very hard because you cant turn the whole cube 360°
there’s nothing cool for psp ever since ir shell and 3.90 m33-2 came out
Actually, this is a sweet piece of homebrew. Homebrew software isn’t all custom firmware and shell extensions you know ;)
9 colors for each of its 6 sides refers to the 9 blocks of color on each side.
I actually laughed at the fact people thought it was a typo.
good release though, Bit bland compared to some of the other stuff out there, but thats just my opinion.
sweet homebrew i like it a lot thank you
after extract where will i put the files and what files thnx
Great piece of homebrew, I’m having a lot of fun with it. Though if you could a full 360 degree turn like someone above me mentioned, this would be Rubix perfection. I don’t know how difficult that would be, but that’s the only flaw I can find.
think i should buy one instead cause these frustate me,my psp would go through window.lol
I dropped this in GAME and it works perfect. Awesome homebrew!!
very cool but weak control…
Nice game but its going to be hard to take the little stickers off and rearrange them in order to “solve” this……so i am screwed.
plllsss help after extract where do i put the files and what file im runing CFW M33 3.90-2 thnxx
why dont you just play with a real one?
why dont you shoot real people. i love playing with my cube. now they need one in a 4×4x4 and a 5×5x5
I agree, with xIAMDAVEx on this one… I thought it was sad enough that I sit around tinkering with my psp non stop, now people are playing rubiks cube on them. Pretty soon we will get an “office chair” homebrew… we can roll it around and act like we have a life.
can someone tell where to put the extracted files?
Raiden, if you cant even figure out where to put the files… what in the hell makes you think you can play this game.. I mean seriously haha, think about it.
hey what’s your problem B*TCH i can do it i a real thing thats why i want to play it on my PSP DAMN ASS
meh, id rather solve the real thing… (personal record is 1min8seconds)
u call that a RECORD? think again sucker . . its 4 beginners time
I am having trouble rotating the cube so the top goes to the bottom so I can continue solving the puzzle. I have played with the control settings, but somehow I can’t seem to know which move make the top (yellow) move to the bottom (orange).
