Chromium-PSP 0.4 Released

greg | March 7, 2008

I’m a real sucker for top-down arcade-style shooters and this is no exception… Ported to the PSP by developer Royale is Mark B. Allan’s Chromium B.S.U.

Additional background info concerning the project, as well the Windows and Linux versions, are available here.

Controls:

  • Digital pad: move in the menu.
  • Analog pad: move the ship.
  • L button (twice): self destruct (useful to save ammunitions).

  • Select: pause the game.
  • Any other button: fire.

Known issues:

  • Some graphic effects are disabled in the menu.
  • You may experience some speed variation during the game.

AWESOME! What a great choice for a port :)

If only someone could port Kobo Deluxe to the PSP!
Heck..I would PAY for something like that to be ported :P

Mind you, depends if the PSP’s memory could handle such a game, especially on the phat.

This sucks! Like the whole scene with these slow updates, how much do I have to donate to get some decent hacks. And by the way, I don’t care what yo all say.

Quit crying and be thankful, you could always go out and buy all your games and not be able to run anything other than sonys official f/w.

Nevermind, I googled it…. that would be very very cool to have on the psp. Great graphics aswell, especially compared to this emulator.

Gltron is a freeware program/Game written by Andreas Umbach an excellent adaption from the Light Cycle Races in the movie Tron by far the best yet.

I also have Tron 2.0 on PC and the Shit Bob/X Box and yes they are great, and if you liked GlTron, there are also others like

Light Cycle, Light Cycle Arena, and so many others but none yet tops GLTron.

Hopefully someone will port this, I have tried but all I get is the first loading screen on the PSP then when loading I get the ole fade to black
