If the movie you are going to convert has a sensible resolution (haven't experimented much, 800x480 or less?), it's even simpler - you can skip the encoding itself and just wrap it in the .pmp format. Takes about 1 minute for a full-length movie. Also - I don't know how efficiently the PSPTube app utilize your battery power, but PMPMod can play constantly for about 8 hours on a single charge (probably more). Oh, one thing I forgot to add.
