Click-click-pow! Mediumgauge has released PSP Filer version 4.7.
PSP Filer bundles a whole whack of useful features and functions — rip UMDs directly to your memory stick, manipulate various types of flat and binary files, manage homebrew apps/games, etc… Follow the download link to learn more.
And the 4.7 changelog says…
- mutes sound while CPU is busy.
- added a feature to create a directory in copy screen.
- added a feature to access RAR archive file. (read-only)

hopfuly he’ll add the function to unzip/unrar files, yeah i no irshell does tht, but he shld code it into, nive job
You can open a zip and rar file like a directory, then copy the contents somewhere else, but they will be readonly untill u can get on a computer and change that, but yeah unzipping and unraring would be easyier and nicer

Is it possible to transfer files from the computer to the psp with this?
whats it matter? you can do that from the xmb. all you need is a usb.
Once it gets unzipping and unraring, I’ll be in full support of this.
