? what bug was there? i was playing Brave Fencer Musashi last night and fell asleep and when i woke up the psp was in sleep mode then when it came out of sleep mode it was just fine.

Why not fix the BIGGER problem, and that is GAMES not working, Like Resident Evil 3, and The CWcheat no longer works ??? What is up with this, This all worked much better on 3.71M33-4 All I had to do was download some Universal Popsloader Thing, it let me switch the Version CFW for Resident Evil 3, so I set it as 3.52 because the Game didnt freeze, when using that CFW. Now with CWcheat, that was working FINE on 3.71M33-4 Now it wont even Load up on any PS1 Game ???
Ok.. if your psone game dont work, blame Sony not DAX. The only games Sony cares about is the games they release on the PS Store. And theres a new version of CWcheat that works on 3.80.
When 3.71 M33 first came out, it didn’t have anything. No themes, No USB flash, small PRX support… ect. Since 3.80 is a new custom firmware, you need to wait until all the older stuff is compatible with it.
to get both popsloader and cwcheat plugins working at the same time, edit ms0:/seplugins/pops.txt and add both:
ms0:/seplugins/popsloader.prx
ms0:/seplugins/cwcheatpops.prx
to it and enable them all in recovery. remember, you will need the prx files for pops.
There’s still a lot of problems with 3.80 M33…
Well the only problem’s I want fixed are Cwcheat working with PS1 Games again, and My Popsloader to work with Resident Evil 3 again, If I could CODE and fix this myself I would, but I’m not good with stuff like that, SO I do apreciate the work these guy’s do, Just kinda sucks I cant get this stuff to work, Was lookin forward to laying in bed on my day off and playing some RE3.
then go back to 3.52M33-4??? Like stop your god damn bitching and fix it yourself, and i don’t mean “CODE” a fix, just use an older CFW that WORKS… I have been on 3.52M33-4 for a while, and will most likely never leave 3.52 until there is a newer CFW that has the same support and performance… i like having 1.5 kernel support and not needed update after update to try to get it working, so again.. STFU and fix it yourself.
3.52 m33-4 with pops was rock solid. I upgraded to 3.71 m33-4 and its pretty solid too. If you dont run UMD ISOs that require a higher FW, then stick with 3.52

dont blame dax. people are dumb, 1.50 add on and popsloader is needed because sony fucked with firmware. so thats why dax has pops and 1.50 add on. and if u cant use popsloader your stupid….

I had the same problem - until I remembered that I hadnt re-enabled pops in recovery - make sure you have re-enabled pops in recovery and added the sony prx’s. Hold down R when you start a ps1 ISO and you can pick your pops version as 3.52.
Ive got 3.80-4 and Resi2 and it worked first time.
that’s good to know, but I cannot get RE2 to work past the police station. Can you confirm that it plays after that point. BTW, I have a phat psp.
I did enable it in Recovery, but when you say SONY Prx’s I’m scratching my head, I never had to do any of that for 3.52 or 3.71, and ISO ? I dont put my PS1 Games in the ISO folder, they are not even ISO’s they are EBOOT’s, I’m not perfect at this STUFF, I just read the READ ME”s and get info from all of you People that know more about it. And this goes out to THUNDERCRACKER, You should THINK before oyu speak, idiot. It’s more like THe people who write these READ ME”s should Go more into explaining before they put all these files together then give you A few Directions and expect a FIRST time user to know it all already.
In all honesty Let’s all stick with FW 3.71 M33-4 So far it’s been the best custom firmware. The New visualizer and internet radio are NOT worth the upgrade yet! So don’t do it please!
Hmm… so the FF7 battle glitch still exists? Even if it it does, DAX has fast updates. I’m curious about how he found that bug in 3.80M33-3 so fast…

Thanks again for the INFO, I did do this the first Time I had the problem with 3.71 and this corrected the Menu not working with RE3, as of now with this 3.80 Update, it does not work. : /
ok. if you need help download the new popsloaderv2 for 3.80m33 and dump seplugin into to root of memory and then download file in here http://www.psp-hacks.com/forums/viewtopic.php?id=118794&p=1 next grab all 4 350.prx or 340.prx and place in your popsloader file in your seplugins. and enable in popsloader. i only use 3.40.prx because it work like a charm. im also more monkey than man. hope that helps.
It’s Funny How I do everything you all say, and YET nothing still works. I never ever get that MENU that pops up letting me pick the 3.50 or 3.52 version to load my Game in. I did when I had 3.71, If there was an easy way to switch back I would.
Maybe you just suck at these things?

it’s funny how everyone is haveing problems yet everything i test works 100% and even things that did not work befor Work now on the 3.80m33-4 If you don’t know how to use Popsloader Download a Premade version then when loading a PSX game Pick 3.40 (it’s the Best and loads close to 99.9% of all PSX games)
Yeah well arent you the Lucky one then, I wish I had no problems with this Popsloader, But sure enough I do. I did everything anyone told me to do and still nothing is working, No CWcheat for PS1games and No RE3, so therefore it is not my Fault, I did everything the way I did it in 3.71 so it must be 3.80M33, I’ll just have to wait for some Update if one ever comes :/

good for you dickface, that doesent change the fact that some people are still having problems with this firmware and popsloader not working, and we arent stupid either, ive tried everything everyone has suggested to practically no avail (it worked for a bit and i can get it to work IF i format my memory stick and put all the files back on there, but even then it stops working all together after the first use). so just because YOUR having an easy time dont assume that everyone should be, there are problems with this firmware, its been documented and proven, so lucky you ya bastard, continue with your good times and stop talking like your god and everyone else is a stupid git.

Well a Update here, I tried out my 1GB MS, and wiped it out, put the Seplugin Folder, put in the GAME text ms0:/seplugins/cwcheat.prx
ms0:/seplugins/popsloader.prx
Enabled it in Recovery, downloaded the 350 and 352 PRX and popsloader.prx and the idcanager_old.prx that came with that FOLDER, replaced all of that with this stuff, and also just tried replacing just the 350 and 352 only, still no luck, or course. BUT the CWCheat Menu actual comes up this time, but RE3 Still freezes, unless I can get this damn MENU to come up with the version I can choose. I held in R on every spot you can think of before the game starts, even right as soon as I click on it, Still NADA, NOTHING, ZIP. So I’m gettin close to just givin up. this shit pisses me off.
Oh and I was using my SONY 8GB stick before
anthony82, if your on 3.80m33-4 download this file it will help you out with popsloader. http://www.psp-hacks.com/forums/viewtopic.php?id=118794&p=1 open the file and grab the 4 340.prx, they are popsman340.prx,pops340.prx, pafmini340.prx and libpspvmc340.prx. and dump them in the popsloader file the one inside popsloaderv2 for 3.80m33. after that just enable popsloader in recovery. im playing RE3. with 3.40.prx because it works the best for ps1 games………………………………………..
cwcheat, im not sure if that works with 3.80m33. never used cwcheat before. maybe they need to release one that works with 3.80m33. i dont know, im lost there?
Anyone know how to go back to cfw 1.50 if I’m on 3.80 m33-4? Or maybe back to 3.52m33? Any help would be great!!

changing game ID to japanese for Resident Evil 2, it will fix the freezing at the police station. it work on the us verison too. use PSX2PSP to change gameID: SLPS01222 for 340.prx and SLPS01510 for 371.prx.
and for people have trouble accessing pops menu, hold R when choosing ps1 to play and it brings up menu to choose firmware.
Can anyone tell me how to reset the option you selected as the firmware you wanted, on a PSX eboot? It seems that once you select it, and that firmware doesn’t run right, you can’t select a different firmware to test? Is there any way besides reinstalling Popsloader, to switch to a different firmware option?
Example: My eboot I made, doesn’t run right on 3.40, so I’d want to either try a higher firmware on it, or a lower, but can’t, because it’s now locked on 3.40. The only way I know how, is to re-install Popsloader.

i use 303.prx and 340.prx. use 3.40 it works the best with ps1 games.

I already had the package you linked to, I have all firmware versions already put in it’s spot. The problem, I think, is that it’s a multiple file converted into one eboot, using M33’s program, popstation_md, which is meant for games that are more than one disc.
Mine is Metal Gear Solid, with custom eboot icons, animated, and sound, but, it’s apparently not done right with popstation_md as it just won’t run right with 3.40, as it did before I took the two into one eboot. The good news, is that I’m using 3.72 which plays a HELL of a lot better than 3.80. Whenever trying 3.40, it tells me I can’t play that file, and it gives me the 8000004 error code.
Until a new popstation_md comes out, I think I’m stuck playing it on 3.72.
