Quick bugfix for M33-3.

- galaxy.prx was changed to a new version that is giving problems with slow memory sticks.
Reverted back to previous versions. This didn’t only affect decrypted isos running in NP9660 mode.

Okay guys, if anyone can help me, I’d like to talk over AIM if at all possible. I’m getting a new PSP phat today, but it has Sony firmware 3.50 installed. I’ve heard that you can still install CFW with a normal memory stick and Lumines or something like that, but I have no idea how to do it! If anyone out there has this information and can help me, I’d much appreciate the gesture! My AIM name is Sflame1230. Please help me out! Thanks!

I just updated to m33-4. THANK YOU DA!!! one problem i got is i tried to use network update from m33-2… it downloaded m33-4 instead of m33-3 first. so i removed the update and manually downloaded m33-3 and installed it then i used net update for m33-4. but yeah the updater notified me of a later update.

At this rate 3.80M33-10 will be out in approx. 50 min. lol

iv tryed Resident evil 2 and 3 and still no luck! final fantasys dnt work nothings really working with this update!!! whta waste of time!!!

I am in absolute love with the network update. I had 3.8-2, and simply clicked on the network update, it found an update, and I installed it by pressing X. Simple as hell, and required absolutely no work.

u drop the seplugins folder into the root of the memory stick and uxit usb mode and go into recovery mode, one uv done tht go into plgins and enable the pops plugin but seriously iv tryed it and when i tryed my resident evil 2 and res 3 even final fantasy it came up a menu with pops and didnt matter wht 1 i picked it j crashed on screen and whenever i loaded the game bk up my game would never start!!! iv went bk to 3.52m33-4 coz at least all my games worked bk then and i didnt even use pops either so its the safer and best cfw out! and another thing all my games still got the stupid dragula crap image in my save games lol so much for DAX fixing tht!!!

if anyone knows how to get most of ps1 games working on 3.80m33-4 plz HELP US ALL coz so far all these updates R pointless!!!

What Folder Do You Put It In

place the UPDATE folder in :/PSP/GAME so it will be like this:

:/PSP/GAME/UPDATE

then select the m334 update from memstick in xmb

I can’t get my emulators to work. I had 3.80 m33-4 and when I run the emulator its says “the game could not be started”(8002014C). do I put the emulator files in game, game150 or the game380 folder and what kernel should i be running? thanks for the help if anyone has any ideas.

Hmmm, I upgraded to M33-4 then formatted the stick, copied the 1.50k_addon files to /PSP/GAME/UPDATE, then copied the 1.50 firmware over to the root of the stick with the name 150.PBP but for some reason when I go to the memory stick through the “XMB->Game->Memory Stick” it only shows a corrupted Data icon. No update? Worked for 3.71 this way? What am I doing wrong?

Has anyone tried to put in the 3.80 – 1.50 Kernel addon on their M33-4? I can’t seem to be able! I asked for help a few messages back. lol, but no answer, so my question is has anyone actually tried to install it? Cause either no one has tried it and thus they don’t know it don’t work or they have tried it and my PSP is screwed up!

I report a fall in perfomance with 3.80 m33-4. I have a FAT and MS Sony 4GB.

at first i was like, what about 3 lol. Nice jobz, now gta games will run faster!

I upgraded to M33-4 and games are still slow. On Wipeout Pulse, images freeze for a split second whenever access to the memory stick is performed.

I was playing Untold Legend Brotherhood with my bro via Ad-hoc WiFi using 3.71 M33-4 and after I switch to 3.80 M33-4 , the game framerate drop , it seems to be slower and laggy.Just what went wrong with this firmware,hope this could be fix soon…

I remember a while back about being able to downgrade 3.71 m33 back to 3.52 m33 without pandora i just cant remember what exactly it was that did it anyone have any clues?

I had problems with it when i Put it in the /PSP/GAME/UPDATE folder. When I went to my memory stick folder all I saw was a corrupt data icon.

So this is how i got it installed.

First – Create a folder in /PSP/GAME/ called 1.50Kernal.

Second – Place the 1.50K_addon files in that folder.

Third – Be sure to place the 150.PBP in the root of the stick.

Fourth – exit USB mode and you should no longer see a corrupt data icon. Instead you will see the newly made 1.50Kernal folder.

Just run it, follow the prompts and it should install.

This worked for me. Hope it works for you too.

I never stumbled on what homebrew had to offer ’til after I downloaded Sony’s 3.72FW….unfortunately. So, I have been waiting and hoping to get my PSP Phat hooked up so I can enjoy everyhting y’all have been playin….now I find that I can’t get the 3.80M33!! You need CFW3.71M33 to update it to 3.80M33…WTF, I mean seriously WTF!! I love freeware, and I am definately way too normal to develop shit and give it to the world for free, but man…i mean, MAN!! that guy jimmy ,m8 i know how you feel, but look man .. get a pandora made up ,if you know one person with a cfw ,any cfw then great as they can make you a pandora ,its easy to make ,takes 5 mins and with it you can revert to 150 fw then move on to a custom firmware(dont use 380) go for 303 oec or 3.52 mm4 they are best. ohh and to revert to 150 using pandora it takes about 3 mins and its the click of the x button.

Erm…I noticed a bug in the thing… When you go to the M33 custom menu (Hold R and power on), you cannot access the flash drives. I tried all of them but all ended up reading from the memory card…..

Is this my problem? Or the software got bug? I’m on 3.80M33-4. PSP-phatt.

I updated to 3.80 M33-4 without a problem. When I go to make a pandora’s batter with it I get a weird memory error. I downgraded back to 3.71 m33-3 and I can make a pandora’s battery again? Is there something in the 3.80 that has shut down the ability to create a pandora battery? Any help is appriciated.

Well a Update here, I tried out my 1GB MS, and wiped it out, put the Seplugin Folder, put in the GAME text ms0:/seplugins/cwcheat.prx
ms0:/seplugins/popsloader.prx
Enabled it in Recovery, downloaded the 350 and 352 PRX and popsloader.prx and the idcanager_old.prx that came with that FOLDER, replaced all of that with this stuff, and also just tried replacing just the 350 and 352 only, still no luck, or course. BUT the CWCheat Menu actual comes up this time, but RE3 Still freezes, unless I can get this damn MENU to come up with the version I can choose. I held in R on every spot you can think of before the game starts, even right as soon as I click on it, Still NADA, NOTHING, ZIP. So I’m gettin close to just givin up. this shit pisses me off. OH and I was using my SONY 8GB Stick before.

Anyone know how to go back to cfw 1.50 if I’m on 3.80 m33-4? Or maybe back to 3.52m33? Any help would be great!!

i just put the cfw on my psp slim and now my iso’s or emulators wont run. right when i try to play one of the iso’s my psp will turn off. does any one know how to fix this

never mind i fixed it. I had a se plugin that allowed you to play music while playing a game that was enabled and i disabled it and that fixed the problem
