Update: PSPTube 20080114 is available. It corrects a few problems mentioned in 20080113.
SofiyaCat releasing more PSPTube versions than Adam Glasser has videos in a given week.
Here is yet another update with a couple additions and fixes…
Changelog translation courtesy of Google Translate.
General:
- Dailymotion corresponding login.
- File name can now download.
- Select the file name of the items can be changed now.
- URL directly enter play now.
Related Play:
- Video playback with the passage of time and full time, the information can be displayed as a buffer.
- Hide comments can be shown now.
Bug fixes:
- Niconico premier members movie, the search problem fixed.
- Niconico video trying to play freeze glitch fixed.

If you put an FLV in the favourates directory, it should play on PSPTUbe
Actually you can put any video file and it will play (to an extent). I’m trying to hexedit this to get it working with other .flv websites…if anyone else has any luck trying?!
I just tryed the new dailymotion user and pass. It still doesn’t work for age limit content…therefore making it useless t.t

If you r using custom firmware 3.71m33 put it in PSP/Game371 folder.
i have 3.71M33-4 and i put everything within the Game & GAME150 folders…
if they are regular folders i put them in GAME & if they are like iR Shell & iR Shell% i put them in the GAME150 folder…..
everything works perfectly fine
These PSPTube homebrew have to be in my top 3 list of favorite homebrews of all time.

In response to Green you can fast foward in this release with d-pad right.
when u say this update do u mean 2008013 or 2008014 cuz i updated to 13 only but never tryed fast forwarding

this version is defo the best of them so far ,the speed drop/loss in connection from the last release has been fixed ,and all the sites that should run clips do now work just like youtube.
this release feels much tighter and is very well presented with all the functions you would need,yeh it still crashes from time to time but thats only when playing certain clips that psptube just cant pplay for some reason.
the only thing i have noticed is nico vids are weird ,every clip i try gives me like a picture display with audio running and some text scrolling across the screen ??? thats all i ever get
no actual video but it must be a video clip just a crappy one ,strange.

possible instability issues? not enough ram or something? its still a homebrew so its not an exactly fully operational app with all the glitches fixed yet
yeah i got the user name and pass working now. It just took a little longer to load at the beginning ^_^;;.

ok… where’s an idiot’s guide to this thing? I have it installed, and have gotten it to play a YouTube video by directly inputting the URL to the video, but that’s a kludge in the worst way. I created some favorites by dragging URLs from FF and IE into the favorites folder, and they show up in PSPTube, but they won’t play when I select them. I can’t seem to find any way to search or browse videos on YouTube, either. Is that not possible?
Is there no site, or FAQ, or anything, just to explain the basic functionality of this great looking app? Google only gives me old stuff about installing and setting up the older versions with the YouTube dev id and stuff, that appears to no longer be required.

why cant i view p06n on daily motion! i cant even see it on regualr dailyu motion doing a basic search, only if i search within groups do i find it but if it dosnt tearn up when i search within videos how is it going to turn up in the search results of psp tube???
I am stuck just like PSPFanboy1971, I have searched the web, read loads of forums and so on. But I don´t get it to work. I using a slim cfw m33 3.80-2. I get it to connect, then it just a black screen. If I drag tabs from firefox to my favorites folder, they are show in the app, but nothing happens when I try to play em. How should it work?
Is it possible to watch my dailymotion private videos if i login with my username and password. because when i upload my videos and then search for it using psptube it cant seem to find the video.
Just wondering if some of you are not pressing select to change from Favorites(sic) to YouTube etc.
Extract contents of file then copy PSPTube folder to GAME folder on memory stick.There is no need anymore for a Youtube Dev ID.To view DailyMotion you must register with DailyMotion a username and password(Don’t forget to confirm by email).
Next open PSPTube folder on memory stick and edit config.js (By right click goto edit) to include username and password between quotes.
Example: psptube.dailyname = “name here”
Psptube.dailypass = “password here”
SELECT=Change Favorites -> Playlist ->Youtube ->Dailymotion ->VeohVideo ->Stage6 ->NicoNico ->Onsen
Circle = Enter Search Text.
Triangle = Open Url – Add to playlist – Play Playlist – Rename (X to select)
Square = Toggle Video list and Video screen.
X = Play.
Shoulder Right = Next 10 videos in list.
Shoulder Left = Previous 10 videos in list.
When playing Video.
SELECT = Screen size.
START = Pause,Resume.
Dpad right = 2x Playback Speed.
Dpad left = 0.5 Playback Speed.
Triangle = Toggle time bar.
Square = Toggle Video list and Video screen.
Circle = Stop and return to list.
This is my first attempt at a tutorial so sorry if it is missing some info.I will try to better it.Just hope it helps

The key was that pressing circle brings up the text entry to enter a search term, not a URL! I knew it was something so basic that everyone else was taking it for granted.

I’ve only tried on 3.71m33(fat). Not updated to 3.80m33 just yet because not had it confirmed if PsPtube fully works on this CFW.
