Impaler has once again updated his PSX EBOOT Creator. This new version features a [working] preview option and output window for error handling purposes. It’s no doubt the easiest way to create single and multi disc PSX/PSOne EBOOTs for Dark_AleX’s PopsLoader. Want to know more? Read here.

Good work and thanks for the update!
God! i wish i had the time and patience to do something as cool as this! Thanks
Thanks for helping the PSP community with your application. Thanks for putting time into this.
That is some damn fine work thanks for sharing…
I’m with stupids ^^^ lol
This is much better than before, good work!
Thank you everyone. If anyone has suggestions please send me an email or leave feedback on the site. Also, there is a walk through at http://impaleriso.com
Impaler your a legend
this is awesome
well done
this is mighty fine!
Has anyone manage to create and play a multidisk eboot of Fear effect with this program?
I created the eboot but when i try to change disk psp says it doesn’t recognise the next disk?
Thats the first game I tested I was going to post the exact same thing. I’m having the same problem. The first disc plays fine but says “unknown disc format” when you switch to disc 2. Also it says my save game is corrupted if I reset the game. but I can save fine and load my save fine while in the game.Hopefully someone can figure out a fix so I can beat my favorite game on PSP! :) BTW other games work fine!
App dosnt run?
I downloaded an earlier multi-disc maker and it didnt work at all. This particular version works great…although it has limitations….basicly the size of your memstick. To get around this with a 4 disc set of (Wing Commander III), make 3 different eboots.. one for discs 1+2… discs 2+3 and discs 3+4… works like a charm. If I had a 4 gig it would easily work all as one eboot. Need Netframework 2 from microsoft to run correctly, download directly from Microsoft.com
Note… Disc 2 of Wing Commander has a glitch in the PS3…
nice eboot creator, i really do like it, but may i suggest a few things!
1.)make it skinable
2.)the bottom options where you can customize the eboots can you add what each item dose for the eboots
example
ICON0 is used for the thumbnail icon
SND0 is used for the sound
Skinnable? Why? Do you sit there showing it off to your “G’s” about how individual you are? Or how unusable you can make an application by making a horrific looking, contrast seeped, eye pain.
It’s an application to make PSP eboots.
Much better this time round :) Only complaints are no CD audio and that IMG images are not selectable in the file type box when you select a PSX image, even though IMG disk images also work.
Impaler,
I’m not having much luck at all with this converter. In fact, I’ve yet to get it to work for *anything* … I’m running 3.71 M33-4, with 1.5 plug in.
Some questions for you:
I downloaded some PSX games, and a lot of them are in .nrg format. I used Magic ISO to convert the .nrg to .iso format. Do you know if I’m loosing out on anything converting from .nrg to .iso? It seems most people post these days as .nrg, not .iso or .prg …! errrr! (Don’t care about this extra step UNLESS somehow the .nrg is messing up something?)
Also, should the converted PSX game be run with 1.5 homebrew or 3.71? I’ve tried both. So far, I’ve only been able to actually convert 2 PSX games to PSP and they actually work, but using an older pop station GUI called SimplePopStationGUI by ZiNgA BuRgA.
I’ve seen all these posts everywhere saying popstation can convert any PSX game to PSP, but I’ve tried about 12, with only 2 actually working :(
I have a fat PSP.
So to sum it up.
(1) I take PSX .nrg and convert to .iso using Magic ISO
(2) I use your GUI, selecting the recently converted .iso, I select the Game Title and create … it creates it…
(3) I noticed it does not create keys.bin file. Is a keys.bin required? I’ve taken an existing keys.bin and put it in and left it out.. still no difference it seems.
Lastly… what folder should the eboot go into? (On 3.71m33-4) … It seems they are suppposed to go into GAME folder. Correct me if I am wrong.
Please help me out with a response. Great job on helping with the scene.
First, I belive that the conversion using magic iso or UltraISO(on my site) should work fine.
Second, they keys.bin files are no longer required for the eboots to work.
Lastly, copy the folder into the Game folder. Try the ultraiso converter if this all fails.. lastly, if you need additional help… drop me an email.
It worked perfectly, i now have one eboot for all 4 discs of legend of dragoon
When i try to open ImpalerPopStation.exe i get an application error??!
it says “The application failed to intialize properly (0xc135). Click on OK to terminate the application.”
Download the Microsoft .net v2. That should fix that.
wow tnx it worked…
i don’t know if anyone is still using this thread but……….. this program works great, i have used it for all my psx games, the only problem i am having is with metal gear solid, i made the 2 disc game into 1 eboot, but when i get to the heli battle on the roof top the game freezes, i believe that it is because of impalerpsx eboot compression, it compresses the audio in certain spots, and where the game freezes liquid snake is supposed to be yelling something, if there is a way of turning off the compression or even lessening it that would be awesome. other than that 1 little prob, great work on this app.
