Developer PACOPAD has returned with another homebrew app that is bound to impress much like the last.
Sadly it’s only operational on first generation PSP’s as it requires use of the integrated infrared port. Nonetheless, have a gander at PSPQsteer… Control the Tomy Qsteer mini RC car with your PlayStation Portable.
Select channel:
- A — triangle
- B — square
- C — circle
- D — cross
Car control:
- movement — d-pad
- dash — r-trigger

No, the R/C implies it’s radio controlled. It has to be infrared controlled for this to work.

I don’t really see the point of this but it’s nice to know that someone actually uses this unused function of the first iteration of the PSP.
Greg would you be willing to help me on a little project? Remember the Universal remote, well i am remaking it, and seeing as i cant find the source code for it i am starting from scratch so if you could help me with a few things that would b great just little things… thanks
Wow – this is great – i am an owner of q-steer Mazda RX-3 (just like on the picture) This program works perfect. Big thanks to the dev! the only wrong thing is that i can’t exit it with the Home button. Only if you press select that will close the aplication.
