Update: A Brazilian Portuguese translated readme (leia-me.txt) is now available in the M33-4 zip archive. Translation courtesy of Fabio Carvalho.
Update: A quick Popsloader bug fix:
- When selecting a firmware for a multidisc game, the setting was remembered for any other multidisc game too. Fixed.
The M33-4 package below contains the corrected ’seplugins/popsloader.prx’ file.
Dark_AleX — the legend himself, not that wannabe Will Smith — has released 3.71 M33-4. The latest & greatest in PSP custom firmwares. Now enjoy your library of multi-disc PSOne games on the slickest hand held around, Sony’s PlayStation Portable. Everything you should know rests in the readme.
Requirements:
Installation:
- Copy the UPDATE directory to /PSP/GAME and execute it.
M33-4 & Popsloader changelog:
- Bugfix: Multidisc psx games bought in the psn store would not work due to the format being different and M33 treating them as decrypted games.
- Added support for decrypted multidisc psx games created with popstation_md (supplied with this release).
- Bugfix: Games without compression had sound issues when using 3.72 pops. Fixed.
- Added support for multidisc px games created with popstation_md. Note: multi disc games will only work in 3.71 and 3.72 pops. Previous pops will exit to the xmb with generic error 0×80000004 when attempting to run multidisc games.

no, you would have to download the 1.5 kernel and install it youself
nothing really wrong with making one eboot for each disc, but this is great for games that didn’t let u save before the disc change

After the update… PicoDrive doesen’t work anymore but other emulators do. Any help?
its working fine on my end, but then again im using the 1.5 version and not the 3.7x eboot.

you know, i never got the pops to work with 3.71 but it was no prob with 3.52. in any case, i think most users just need a stable platform to run ISO files. alot of people have no need for pops. still, its awesome that pops even exists.

Everything is working great, custom icons are also good, except gameboot icon. Anyone know how to change it in multidisc loader NOT the GUI. I have put a file in the same folder called gameboot.png, but it doesn’t work.

Hi all this is my first post, first thing id like to say keep up the great work DA. I was just wondering if anyone can help me I tried to start the popstation_md.exe but get the message “this application has failed to start because cygz.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem.” just wondering if anyone else had this problem and fixed it I got the cygz.dll and no luck?

I can’t to get this program to work. I type in everything perfectly and I have the actual base.pbp in the data folder and once I press enter it tells me cannot open base.pbp. I even used the very simple gui and still coming up with an error. I have the cygwin.dll and the right .net frameworks. Does anyone have any suggestions?
We could wait for DAX to bring out a user friendly gui or wait for ZingaBurga to update Popstation.

I need help…
As of now, my fat psp is in 3.73 m33 - 4.
The problem now is that my psp can’t recognize my psp camera. And also, whenever i want to connect via wireless…my psp cannot scan a wifi hotspot(it says “internal error”).
