PSPTI99 v1.0.1: TI-99/4 Emulator
greg | December 4, 2007
There is a fifth dimension beyond that which is known to homebrew advocates. It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, and it lies between the pit of Sony’s fears and the summit of ones knowledge. This is the dimension of porting classic home computers to the PSP. It is an area which we call ZX-81’s zone!

TI99Sim is a very good emulator of Thomson TI99 home computer running on Windows and Unix. The emulator faithfully imitates the TI99/4 model.
PSPTI99 is a port on PSP of the version 0.1.0 of TI99Sim.

nice progrm
Fuck this mutherfucker.. I posted FIRST and someone deleted my fucking postings…. only left the “nice program” text… that’s sensorship…. BS….. stop it now mutherfucker…. I post what I want where I want….you keep this up, I sue yer ass and yer ISP/HOST. fuck off.
LOL – sorry I rant out cuz my OCD and Bi-Polar problem… ;(
Um, Sorry U can try to sue a website but you will never win, your posting on their dime and they can decide what they want on here and what they do not. Bi-polar or not there is no call to use language like you did in that post. Go wash your mouth out with soap.
and when you grow up and get on your meds come back and post
@greg: thanks for the news, it was very fun to read ! At first, i thought you were talking about a new Startrek episode :D :D :D,
Zx
a little twilight zone twist on things ;)
it suxs lol sry
thats cool lol id use this but we have ti-84’s in class and i can use them at anytime :D
nice parody of twilight zone’s intro. Rod serling was a strange guy.
Anyway, I want the original zx, in a glass case, in my apartment. good work!
The carts provided aren’t very good: Centipede didn’t have a #2 load option, Hopper and STNick would only load TI Basic, Moon Mine freezes at level advances, and Parsec freezes. I hope this emulator gets updated I love the TI-99 4/a. Parsec rocked the ’80s!
I had the tape drive, voice recorder, about 20 games with a big case built for them with a flip up lid 2 joysticks, all sorts of goodies…I sold it to one of my brother’s friends for like 40 dollars about 6-7 years ago. Wish I had it now…
*voice synthesizer (not recorder)
Correction: the TI499/4A was released by Texas Instruments and not Thomson!
Yes it was a mistake on my blog (i took the thomson TO7 as a sample …)
@Reiken: For Parsec, you have to put the PSP clock to 333Mhz (i”ve to find a better fix). Btw, this emu is in early stage, works still remain,
Zx
What did you think the TI stood for :P
lmfao @ Pecker, hahaha
One of those people where first post matters(which I dont get, what is the big deal), and the higher the forum post count you have, means you have skill. – Get a life!!!
As always, great work Zx! Just seing these old school comps emulated rocks.
Go the 3.3 MHz
Yes, higher posting go from my rant, the more Skillz I have and can say to all..”Owned!”… LOL love this shit… Thanks mbitter… you understand the game of skillz kinda… peace out biotch
Cool!
I had a Texas Instruments TI99/4A, and it was brilliant for its’ time.
Haven’t tried this yet, but I’m hoping that the speech synthesizer has been incorporated.
Unfortunatelly the speech synthesizer is really slow in this emu :(
Zx
Haha kick ass! I had a TI99/4a when I was a kid, it was fun at that time hehe. Good work
What does it do?
Mmm. Is not Thomson TI99. is Texas Instruments TI/99…
