Update: CFE 1.9.2 is here…
- Fixed a stupid bug with nethost in cfe_vsh that was causing to always connect to the computer ip address \\\”192.168.1.2\\\”.
Update: v1.9 has just been released. And the changelog says:
- Added iso and homebrew redirection via WIFI with the use of dark alex nethostfs optimized by ahman. (iso streaming is not really usable due to speed transfer)
- Memory usage optimized.
- Text rendering graphically optimized.
- Maybe more…
Cpasjuste has bundled and released a collection of very handy PRX modules, better known as plugins, responsible for extending the functionality of custom firmware 3.71 M33.
Considering it’s the first time we’ve covered custom firmware extender; rather than post the v1.8 change log, here’s the complete feature list:
- Stream ISOs via USB.
- Hook some VSH menu functions.
- Start a ftpd server while under the VSH (PSP Menu).
- Make some in-game videos with the help of remotejoy from tyranid.
- Reset the PSP with a button while under the VSH (PSP Menu) or in-game (UMD/ISO).
- Power off the PSP with a button while under the VSH (PSP Menu) or in-game (UMD/ISO).
- Change the speed of the PSP CPU/FSB while under the VSH (PSP Menu) or in-game (UMD/ISO).
- Start and stop USB Mass Storage under the VSH (PSP Menu) while browsing.
- Enable USB Mass Storage at startup.
- Take a screenshot while under the VSH (PSP Menu) or in-game (UMD/ISO) saved in the PICTURE folder.
- Set a default CPU/BUS speed at startup.
- Set a default brightness level at startup.
- Enable brightness button to go to the max level.
- Fully configurable via a configuration file.
Installation, usage, and everything else can be found in README.TXT.

xD i was just about to say tht but cool gonna check it out
im new to homebrew do yall know any good iso loaders for 3.71m33-2 or if you even need one?
Ir Shell is a good iso loader through usbhost or memory stick
thank you
You don’t need an iso loader to play iso games. You copy them to the correct directory on your memory stick and it shows up in the VSH (Psp Main Menu)
This is of course only your LEGALLY Backed up iso’s (otherwise you are a game pirate, arghh matey). And we all know pirates are bad… unless you are Jack Sparrow…
no u dnt need need an ISO loader, thougH IR shell has one.. you just need to drop your ISOs in the ‘ISO’ folder
Ir shell is a good loader through usbhost or nethost and memory stick
when i try to capture a video using remotejoy i press c to capture but where is the capture folder? also when i originally press note and triangle, my pc asks to install a driver. any ideas?
Some features when used over USB class as PSP Type-B. You need to manually install the psp type-B drivers.
you can find them at
http://forums.maxconsole.net/showthread.php?t=20983
all those drivers come with this download already garfinkle!
Just use RemoteJoy to display normally and then use HyperCam 2 to record…
mounting iso and nothing else happens any ideas
im having the same problem it doesnt do anything after it says mounting iso
I only like the max brightness feature.

Shutting down the PS3 via the PSP puts the PS3 into a state where Wake On Lan will not work until the PS3 is rebooted and shut back down again.
I tested this a few times today and I get:
A connection error has occurred. The connection to the PS3tm system has been terminated.
whenever I use the “Turn Off the PS3tm System” via the PSP.
Once you do that, you can not use the “Remote Start” feature over the Internet until you restart the PS3.
I don’t think it is a network congestion issue
anyone alse having this problem?
well your doing well mine wont connect over the internet at all it connects via ps3 connection no problem turns on and off whenever you wont but give the same error as you get whenever i try connecting through the internet says timed out anyone no whats going on here
got it working. you have to restore defoult setting on ps3 then do the same for psp.. then set things up and mkae sure you start remote play through via internet if you try private it will not work. took me a while to figure out.. but i have no problems now turning on my ps3 on off and have it on standby..
ho yea thanks
Stupid crap.
How do you type Note+L on the psp. Or what is this note key.
Thanks
lmao.. im trying to figure out the same thing.. thats a confusing ass readme file.. i wish they would be more considerate as to let us know what the hell they’re talking about in those readme files.. EVERYBODY!!! WHAT IS “NOTE + VOLUME DOWN”???
well obviously i know what “volume down” is…
Well, have you looked at the PSP? Do you know what a note is? Look at the link for a hint…
still not workig via nethost
