Update: KahnArtizt has confirmed (in the comments) 3.72’s availability via Network Update. I wouldn’t recommend installing it though; by the looks of things, it’s nothing worthwhile.
It would seem Sony has officially released PSP firmware 3.72. Per the moment 3.72 is reportedly available for only Japanese hand helds. I’m unable to confirm whether or not it’s downloadable via Network Update; my PSP is currently at home, and well, I’m not there. Of course the North American side of things remain behind on the update. Check back soon for more details.

its added a feature called [remote start] in remote play also but you need ps3 firmware 2.0 to run it.

DAX=m33, Aop sucks, and I never used wildc*rd but I dont thing I heard anything bad about it. DAX loves the PSP scene far too much to stay gone long, hes most likely already working on the new m33 as I type.

All I want more in a firmware is AVI playback with descaling. Even better if homebrew could provide it as a plugin.
there was someone working on that. But, I last seen anything to do with that was something like a yr ago. The torrent thing that’s being past out has a trojan attached to it. If AVI playback could be done it would be great. To bad AVI has alot of codecs. As for the software. It also didn’t support sound. so it aint worth it.

The 1.0 was for jap release only, the first wave american psp’s came with 1.5 out of the box, not 1.0. Thats why he asked if you were japanese. So… ARE YOU RETARDED… man I love being right.

actually, the only reason japan’s PSP’s started with 1.0 was that they got their psp’s first. There was an update made, but it was released before the american release, meaning that if sony never made updates, we WOULD be on 1.0.
Hmmm, interesting point. I was about to mention I downgraded my system to 1.00 and saved a copy of the NAND….but that was on the Blue System i bought from Japan… yeah. Anyway, as far as I am concerned, we really do not need a custom firmware 3.72 yet, and probley wont until some time in the new year, which it is almost certain to have a new firmware by then. With Pandora and a backup Nand, VIVA Pandora and go on without fear. If worse came to worse, you could always upgrade, play your game for a week then re-downgrade to do homebrew.

Well i like o have an up to date psp with CFW for playing any psx games i want also, with me having a PS3 and using remote play, i don’t have to keep my PS3 on while I use remote play, now with turning it on and off, its a great feature. Even tho the updates were nothin really good after 3.70 but just having your psp up to date good for future games
If man can make it, man can break it… I remember when I was reluctant to upgrade from 2.0 to 2.50 to play new games but shortly after no one cared about 2.50, that was easily hacked. I remember when 3.03 first came out and when people upgraded I thought ARE YOU MAD??!!
