PSP Development Kit for Windows
greg | October 29, 2007
So you wanna be a PSP developer, huh? Code some fresh homebrew, make a name for yourself, get all the fly PSP honeys… ZX-81 is paving the road which will ultimately lead to your success in awesomeness. Perhaps we should go into production with a reality show — will you be the next great PSP homebrew developer?
The supplied package is intended for Windows and aims to avoid the hassle of installing cygwin, compiling the toolchain, etc…
The source code for PSPWrite is given as an example — both a Linux and PSP version. Other examples also included.
Due to the nature of this package, we won’t be hosting it.
Thanks ZX!

Sweetness. Thanks Zx
I may upload it to megaupload soon. his download is 1gb at 10-20kbps….
Yeah… I’m not counting on any genius programmers emerging that can’t handle installing cygwin and compiling the toolchain
maybe they just dont want to take the time to get that all set up.
It took my old computer 13 hours to install it….
some people might not want to do that.
thank you ZX!!!! this will make my developing 100x easier!!!!
I will upload the rar files on another web site, i hope it will download faster,
Zx
cool! just got the thing up and running perfectly!
now, lets see what i can do.
Damn awesome. Im sure it will be quite useful to people! I may dabble with it a bit…
I had cygwin and the Toolchain a wile back…. but lost it all when I reformatted…
i got it running on my old XP computer, but is it compatable with vista x86?
I still prefer the old Linux method. But it’s true that it can save some time.
And I believe there can be good programmers even if they don’t know Linux. It’s a big flaw not to know it, yes, but that doesn’t mean people are not creative.
Good job Zx!
Some one should make this for the Mac.
Thing is this is advertised as solely for windows. In can work with mac, its Virtual box (kinda like paralells for the mac) and its using an xubuntu distro as its core. Go ahead mac users, cause seroiusly, it does work for mac (of course I can’t tr it cause the latest mac i own is a classic II, but I’m sure it works on at least intel macs)
are you sure? wouldn’t it need a JVM to work with mac? I’m not flaming, just asking!
so if i learn to do this, i will get some fly psp honeys?

Another approach with a Gentoo Linux distribution and VMWare Player can be found on gentoo.pspuae.com. There is also a VMWare beta out for Mac.
Thankz Zx
