Update: PSP Doom v1.1 is now available –
Fixed problem with strafing and turning at the same time. Big cleanup of the controller handling code in general. Added ability to disable the analog stick and to calibrate it. Added two forms of cheats. If there is no default settings file, or if the default doesn’t specify the main WAD file, it now tries to set the main WAD to the shareware WAD (idiot compensator).
Chilly Willy has released his own PSP port of Doom, which is based on ADoomPPC v1.7 by Jarmo Laakkonen. ADoom is a port of ID Software’s Linux DOOM and it runs beautifully. But who am I kidding, you know what Doom is all about. Unfortunately, per the moment, this version does not include networking support.
Doom for PSP requires a PSP with 3.xx custom firmware. For use with a TV, you need a PSP Slim with a composite or component AV cable.
Doom for the PSP requires a WAD file compatible with DOOM for the PC or Macintosh; Hastings is selling a compilation of The Ultimate DOOM, DOOM II, and Final DOOM for around $20 (US); get it. Only wimps use the shareware wad file. Despite the last sentence, the shareware WAD file is included so that you can play DOOM on your PSP right away.

pfft, pay for homebrew, nope, Pinos got it rite, i love that site. also, i dont see wats so bad about the snes emu, i lov it, it even has custom backgrounds and music, not to mention a sweet UI. props for snes9x TYL :P

I cant even run Doom it says its missing files. (readme wont work if its in there) so I throw it in the GAME the DOOM folder. soooo im running 3.52m33-4

i used to have the old doom port, with sound, i installed it using installotron, works perfect every time. yeah, redneck rampage would be kick ass, lol
rather wait for other doom upgrade from other person.anyway if i wanted to play this on full screen then i would play on pc
You are running homebrew… but the WAD file is NOT homebrew… but its not like I cared, I just downloaded DOOM collection from a torrent and went to town. I dont see the point for this port myself.. unless it has sound. None of these DOOM ports have sound, and the ones that do are glitchy as fuck. I would also LOVE to see redneck rampage lmao. Will RR not work with DOSBOX?
