JoySens 1.3 Released!
greg | October 22, 2007
You read this a couple days ago, now see this… An improved version of JoySens from developer Raphael. Uneducated users will be delighted to know JoySens allows sensitivity control over the PSP’s analog stick.
Here’s what Raphael had to say concerning version 1.3…
This release adds a DPad/Analog swap function on popular request as well as provides a fix for analog sticks that completely deny to respond in one or two directions, which is caused by the stick returning too small values even when pulled to the extremes. You now also can change the configuration for the primary plugin button, which was hardcoded to the NOTE button till now. The download also includes a 3.71 compatible (and only!) version of the plugin, so make sure you use the correct one. For 3.71 with 1.5 kernel patch you need both versions actually to make the plugin work in 1.5 homebrew – see the readme for instructions.
Also, look over the new FAQ.txt, should you have any questions.

??? hm… another one
Great and Thanx. Race games really needs this one. God Man.
Awesome! This seems to have fixed my dpad from controlling my analog. Because before i press the left or up dpad and my analog would magically move to the left for some reason.
Well i think its fixed that problem so far.
I just hope raphael will continue to make for Joysens in the future compatible with the newest sony update ( when they release there next one) Otherwise my psp is unusable.
im on 3.52 M33, will it work?? cuz my analog stick is all jacked up, random movements all the time….it’s really annoying, but i dont want to upgrade to 3.71m33, please help.
ere m8 have u changed your case to a custom case or changed face plate etc recently, if so may be need to tighten screw slightly or even losen one of case scres or more, happned to me i changed case and i always had a random down movement and it was don to a cheap case
. that was solution anyway for me!
squeeze the two halfs together when tightening loosen slightly squeeze and tighten? hope helped some1!
@ aaron. Nope, Joysens 1.3 is for 3.71M33 only.
Joysens 1.2 will work with 3.52M33 and you can find it here
http://www.fx-world.org/wordpress/?m=200707
it does work im on 3.52 m33-4 and it works perfectly
Thank you for your contribution towards making our psps more functionable. I highly hold you in my highest favorite hacker next to team m33 and dark alex.
One quick thing i would like to say, would this fix a problem with a psp that does not have an analog and the psp moves everything downward? Yes i don’t know why it moves everything downward, i mean the mouse cursor in the internet browser, my character like for example kratos in god of war chains of olympus. They move downwards and it’s difficult to move it with the d pad. Once again thank you for your contribution.
Hopefully this will solve the problem of the guy in Gta walking slowly in a cirle to the right….first i must upgrade….thanx
Just a note: JoySens 1.3 is absolutely compatible with firmwares other than 3.71, you just need to use the joysens.prx file with all such firmwares. It’s only 3.71 users that need the additional joysens371.prx file to have the plugin work.
@MR.ME: If your analog stick is broken away your best option would be to just disable it by setting “adjust” to zero in the config file. This will prevent all the unwanted movement.
I haven’t been able to get this thing to work and I’ve been following the (somewhat vague) directions to the T. All i get is semi-bricks. >:^|
Works on PSP-slim with cfw 3.71 m33-4?
i have psp v3.80 m33-5 how this plugin work for my psp??? email me at klirtz@yahoo.com tnx
I just put this on my PSP 1001 with M33 3.71. Can’t seem to figure out where or how to use it. I enabled in the registry but is there a certain program that is for adjusting the settings? How do you know what your settings are? Where should I be or what program should I be running when I am adjusting the settings, and then how do I know what I adjusted them to?
