JoySens 1.2 for 3.71 M33
greg | October 18, 2007
Raphael has provided a 3.71 M33 compatible version of JoySens. Due to the nature of its release, you may experience some unexpected behaviour. Raphael states this particular version hasn’t been well tested, so there is no guarantee that it will work 100%. Leave your reports below.
JoySens is a PRX plugin which allows refined control over the PSP analog stick’s sensitivity levels. It works in the following ways:
- Changes the axial mapping to a cubic (or other selected) form so that small movements don’t get recognized too early. This means that you can move cursors more exactly and don’t have it jumping around on the screen.
- Applies a sensitivity scale to linearly change the responsiveness (and maximal amplitude for values < 100%) of the stick. With this you can 'slow down' the analog stick.
- Filters movement of the analog stick so that abrupt changes are further smoothed (adjustable).
- It is possible to calibrate the analog stick so it centers properly
- Allows to remap the DPad to the analog, so you can play games that require analog input with a broken stick
- Allows to remap the analog to DPad, so you can for example control the XMB with the analog
