For the lazy folk, like myself, here’s a simple solution to easily accomplish any of the following:
- upgrade slims to 3.71-2 M33
- upgrade phat to 3.71-2 M33 w/ 1.50-2 kernel patch
- downgrade phat to 1.50
- upgrade phat straight to 3.52 M33 from Extended Boot Menu then install update 4 no need to downgrade to 1.50
- start up PSP with Ultimate Loader with support For choosing which Pandora’s you reach V1 or V3(by hold L trigger)
- Boot to XMB (Phat Only)
- Boot to a full 1.50 from Mem Stick (Phat Only)
- use PSPFiler and other tools (If it requires 1.50 slims can’t)

can anybody help me to flash my 3.71 ofw psp to 1.50 or 3.52 m33. I try with pandora, cant open pandoras instaler or creator. !!! One Wire Pandora Battery — No Software Required????

Confuzzed. Is there no steps on what to do. read the included files. Ill stick with 3.52 m33 and the original pandoras battery and mem stick.

if you read the post that says “Pandora’s ultimate magic stick installer”, you may learn something by accident. :)
i suppose that this is pretty much useless for the psp slim seeing as though everything is mostly for the fat.
Not if you want to use it for others PSP’s. That is the point of this release. To get all the tools ready to spread the love.

A GUI is on the way. To bad you think this is a simple repack. Shows how little you really know about this stuff. If you can come up with anything better go ahead. You will be hard pressed to beat this setup.
I agree with DSpider, its just all the programs bundled together. I don’t have a spare battery/mem stick. Instead of messing about, we need a sort of universal HEN. I’m hoping for a HEN to deal with OFW 3.52, Pandora’s bat it too complex.
You obviously don’t read much. You only need an extra battery if you use a slim. Which correct me since you are so enlightened if I’m wrong but, don’t you need a second battery for a slim with the normal DCv3 anyway. So if you can’t/refuse to see the grand idea of this then don’t use it . But don’t degrade what myself and the others have accomplished. This would not have gotten stickied at Maxconsole if it was nothing special. I was trying to bring it here to give to more people, but it seems some folks here have limited sight.

Follow EXACTLY what it says but you need to install pandora battery creator or if you are on 3.71m33-2 like me use Le recovery to create the battery but put it on a seperate memory card !
P.S. I have 3.71 m33-2 with:
-one battery
-two memory stick a 256MB( for Cementerio V3)

My psp has 3.71 m33-2 and is use Le Pecovery for 3.71m33-2 ( a very simple way to convert batteries to pandora but you need a second memorystick to pu the Le Recovery On to. Here is the link to Le recovery http://dl.qj.net/General-Apps/pg/12/fid/14873/catid/151
-put this on the non-pandora memory stick and the Despertar del Cementerio V3 On the Other !
I also use ac adapter when booting back up into my 1G memory card to convert my battery back to Normal( With Le Recovery)

I am already used this method. my psp battery can be dual function now.
i followed the readme, aka in the ultimate magic stick but was unable to get extented menu working, desrada v3 worked

The title is VERY misleading, this is NOT an installer at all, it’s just a bundle of software and you have a very complex sequence to follow to install everything. The best thing is the instructions are NOT included with the download!!!

Sorry I can’t hand you this after the install it contains sony files. How bout you take some initiative and do something for yourself? There is a GUI on the way , but it may take a bit. What have you done to contribute the scene other than lewch others work then downgrade it when you don’t have the vision to see the benefit it would give you.

@peter - the easiest thing for you to do is update to 3.52M33 if you have little experience,no messing with different kernals and stuff.you need to download this http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/1210 - its the custom firmware maker and this http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/4 - its the 1.50 official update and this http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/1209 its the 3.52 official update,then follow instructions inside the first rar.after all that you need to download this update for the custom firmware http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/1231
wait a minute…if you can launch 1.5 xmb from the ebm does that mean you can use pandora with only one battery?…the only reason you need another is cause with the battery in you cant load the firmware and therefore cant run the homebrew to switch the battery back…am i totally off my rocker?
If you fully read the thread dude you would have seen with a Phat you only need 1 UMS and 1 Battery. This will give you the ability to boot to XMB or by holding L on boot you goto the various unbricking options. Enjoy.

yo peter look on this site under downloads and it’ll have custom firmwares there…try 3.52 m33 custom it’s nice and stable…then find update 4…load the firmware then the update once you are on 3.52 m33…

you have to specify what firmware you’re psp’s specs so we can help you ( firmware etc.)
ive got it sorted now thanks for your help tho. one more thing ive got a 1g memery card and the games are bigger than that can any one help with this problem? ive been told that i can change them from iso? make them smaller ?
Use USBHOST
You can CSO the files to make them smaller. Look for UMDGen or other CSO converters.

Lets make this clear… Pandora 1 can downgrade ANY Fat Psp to a ’sub’ version of 1.5, from there you can install any custom firmware….. Pandora 2/3 can ‘downgrade any psp, Fat or Slim to 3.71cf.
“Pandora 2″ installs cfw 3.71m33 and
“Pandora 3″ installs cfw 3.71m33-2 (the second update).
“Pandora 3″ also comes with a display driver for the Slim so you won’t have to do a blind install.

Hey just an FYI this may need to be updated in the directions. I had to change my theme back to the Original Theme prior to creating the Magic Stick.. As when I first tried with my custom theme my Slim PSP would only show the time and then shutdown. After redoing the process with my theme set to Orig and then running on the slim again I was able to use the PSP Slim.
By the way I want to send a thanks out to everyone who has made this possible…

Keep freezing at DC3 Menu.
I’ve done all and I get to the dc3 menu on the psp slim and it asks if I want 2 upgrade to cfw press x and non of the buttons are responsive. any ideas.

I keep reading this Pandora and Magicmemory card thing. Some of the stuff, like unbricking, is cool, but is putting a custom firmware on a PSP really as hard as these comments make it seem?
I mean without the Pandora stuff. Just doing it normally.
Also, to go along with my last post, why doesn’t anyone program something to stop PSPs from being bricked, like a virus protection or something? or am I getting the concept of being bricked completly off?

Shit why my shit doesnt work ? I got error when I start the program its said something error 2 things I dont get it I mean I did anything good IM no noob. I copy the 371.PBP and 150.PBP to the root thats where psp and iso and other things is. And in the ISO folder I put the installer just as the guide said. Yes and then disconnect the usb and I start the program with the shit nigger music and it said error something with prx ?? wtf 2 error from prx. Now what ?
