PSPWrite v1.0.1: Text Editor for the PSP
greg | October 13, 2007
Whether you’re in class or just needing to jot down a quick reminder, do it in style using ZX-81’s latest — a simple text editor for the PSP — with IR keyboard support!
I’m pleased to announce the first release of PSPWrite a simple text editor for the PSP. This editor should be easier to use than Notepad (part of PSP-PDA project).
It permits to edit even huge text file, in both dos and unix mode, using iso8859-1 (8bits) characters encoding. All iso8859-1 characters are present in the “Danzeff like” virtual keyboard.
The IR keyboard support is based on the work of Harald Fielker (author of the PSP IR Keyboard Library) with a new patch from Craig to support Sprint PCS IR keyboard.

great app.
like the text input, much better than the PSP text input method.
great work!
PS: i have a logitech keyboard, what settng is best for me?
Call me crazy, but I really like the way you enter text with the PSP browser; it just seems like there’s less cursor movement and less thinking involved. Can this method be implemented?
Very useful application. I love this!
nice comment adam. i agree, and its a shame there are people like that.
I like the fact that you can make lua apps from this :P
Now all we need is a c/c++ compiler that runs on psp, then we could make homebrew portably too.
where do you save it to? psp/common?
how do you do it
I do it like this!
*Makes thrusting motion*
