Following up with the release of iR Shell 3.62, AhMan has shared a video of his latest advancements… Take any 2 player emulated-compatible PSOne game, 2 PSPs, the yet-to-be released software, and what do you get? Multiplayer over Ad Hoc WiFi!
Considering it’s still an early work in progress, there is no release or public beta available yet; however, the proof is in the pudding…

You dumb mother fucker, where did you learn to read?! It clearly says it’s achieved via AD-HOC, obviously between two PSP’s within the vicinity of each other. Even if you don’t know your ABC’s and 123’s, there’s a Youtube vid RIGHT THERE that shows how it’s set up. Douche.

You assume that a hypothetical infrastructure mode wouldnt quite possibly have some sort of menu in which a user can direct an infrastructure connection to a particular pc

hmm.. sorry to burst some bubbles but.. on the white psp, i didn’t see any flashing green (WiFi Indicator) unlike on the black one that was flashing like a crazy mofo.. By all meens i think it’s real - it just came to my attention..

I noticed that as well, had me a little concerned for the authenticity of this [potentially awesome] achievement. However, I then also noticed that you can’t see the POWER light on the white PSP either, even though the system is clearly on and functioning. So I think he either has the lights disabled some kind of way, or you just can’t see them in the video for some reason.
Anyway, can’t wait for the download! I plan on rocking to some Bushido Blade 2 or maybe Chocobo Racing.
