PSPMSX v1.2.0: MSX Emulator Released

Ever play the MSX? Ever play the MSX on ZX-81’s clock? For those who haven’t experienced the wonders of MSX, you’re about to enter a whole new realm of 8bit computing — the MSX, MSX2, and MSX2+ — all emulated on your PSP hand held. PSPMSX is ported from Marat Fayzullin’s fMSX emulator.
PSPMSX v1.2.0 changes:
- Huge speed improvements, it runs now faster than 60 fps using only 222Mhz PSP clock frequency
- IR keyboard support!
- New graphics and eboot icons
- Display and save thumbnail images for each save state
- Add a new render mode (fit height)
- New speed limiter function
- Add option to display fps rate
- Now compatible with custom firmwares 3.x and PSP-slim
- Add a simple intro splash screen
- Support iso8859-1 fonts in print text functions (might be useful to translate menus in german, french …)
- Bug fix and code cleaning

Whats So good About MSX Whats there best game?
What’s so good about the MSX computers, you ask? Well, their games are excellent. Especially the ones made by Konami. :-) There’s also lots of other great games made for the MSX systems.
I’m surprised I have to even say this. Everyone should know this by now…. If you don’t know what something is then fucking wiki/google it.

Oh, yeah, I totally forgot. Thanks for this great emulator, ZX-81. I said it once before (at your site) and I say it now again. :) Excellent emulator.
