Fanjita of Team Noobz is waving goodbye to the PSP scene. Fanjita, whom authored & aided in the authoring of many great PSP homebrews, including one of my personal favourites — piKey — has stated on his personal blog that it’s time to move onto various other non-PSP related projects. We here at PSP Hacks wish you nothing but the best of luck with your future endeavors, all the best. And thanks for the great releases!

The Pandora unbrick project is old, read the readme. DAX was in it before his leaving….

No cocksucking here, why the pottymouth? And while I appreciate what m33 has done and is doing, it’s hard to compete with his predecessors. Where are all the “all in one” installers? The people that started all of this are almost all gone, and that’s my problem. There’s a new psp coming out if you didn’t know and what do we do then? I don’t know how to code.

You are nothing but a fake and a mother fucking Fony, You talk shit, I’m ON the Sony PSP Firmware Team and I know that we here at Sony didn’t hunt either Dark_Alex or Fanjita down to pay them off. They left at their own will.
All of us here use DAX’s Last CFW(3.40OE-A’), we used it since the BETA 1.50 P.O.C. we WERE asked to test and use the Custom Firmware to figure out ways to increase the “security” but as more and more of the Custom Firmware updates came out, more and more of Us became to sick of having to update it.
Ever noticed that after a few days or weeks we release another update? It’s because WE find the loops in the firmware, Even If we find the loops we wait for some one like DAX or the n00bz team release their hack for it. So There you have it WE RESPECT the PSP Hackers
even though you are most likely just lying about being a sony employee, if by some chance you are, I would like to say most all of us respect the work you do at sony. After all, without it we wouldn’t have the system we all love today. I would also like to add that maybe instead of only finding holes in the firmware security, you could also add some of the legal add-ons that you see in custom firmwares. Not everyone who modifies their psp does it to pirate games. Some just like the added features and true homebrew. Perhaps if sony allowed homebrew to be submitted to them for legal public release, then less people would stray from the official firmwares? That’s just a thought.

This will hurt a lot when PSP Slim is out… Fanjita stated that they had planned Pandora’s Battery for PSP Slim, but thanks to some stupid(s) traitor(s) they were forced to realease it before time…
Fanjita has done a lot for the PSP Homebrew Scene, without asking for nothing more than a donation, and what does he get?
1. Ungrateful people always whining for more.
2. Team mates screwing up everthing.
When DAX left, it was sad, but now that Fanjita leaves, it really hurts. It’s not that there will be no more homebrew for the PSP, but Fanjita had a lot of knowledge, and that means less time between releases…

I hope this means that they’re going to focus on ps3. they spent hours a day hacking and coding psp. DAX said in an interview that he spent 2-4 hours a night on psp. I think now that M33 is on the scene doing great work, they’re off to bigger and better things (PS3).
Dammit… I remember the less-known programmer Becus25 leaving as well. :| Will all the major names in the PSP scene eventually stop working their magic ?
If he wants to make some time for his own family you can’t really blame him. I hope this is not adieu but a mere goodbye, and I hope he’ll come back one day and do some more amazing work, under a different name if he pleases.

I don’t think so… If Sony was hunting down the developers of Pandora they would have sued Team C+D by now. And besides, I read an article stating that the hack did not actually break any law. (I’m not sure though, but no hacker here had been reported of being sued). If you went to his sight he said that the Pandora Project was leaked. Nothing more I can add to that.

- Pandora was leaked! OMFG! I wondered why it had been released so early even before the PSP Slim or PSP-2000 had gone into market. I even thought it was a stupid move by the developers. But, to think that it was actually leaked. Heck! With Sony stopping distribution of all PSP-1000 or old modeled PSP, by leaking Pandora it’s like breaking a wall only to face a greater obstacle which we ourselves made. That’s not even funny. I was thinking that if it had not been leaked we could have been able to hack the PSP-2000 more easily.
i think that sony wants homebrew to be alive, they have almost handed us the tools we needed to stay alive, gta lcs & lumines, it seems as though they want us to do this! it would make sence because the real money maker for them is the system itself, not the games. if games don’t sell it hurts companys like rockstar more than sony! sony just wants to sell systems and what better way than to support a growing homebrew scene? i really doubt that d_a and fanjita got bribed or even threatened by sony, they have a bigger project, that is all.

As said by AzRAeL, I can see why people are dropping off like flies. There is no gratitude for what people are doing here. When they finally decide to move on, they get nothing but insults and derogatory remarks.
