You need to set the settings in the options. You need them files also. I don’t pack them with the installer cause frankly they tend to make the download huge. Look on here for them files or or visit http://trading-post.sytes.net:6969/ and look into the psp section.

With all these ppl saying they can use it with Vista and Not ONE can say WTF is wrong. One person tried to give a clue but failed to produce a readable image. If you’re not gonna give out what error numbers and such, then I guess you can’t use it. Simple as that. I don’t have VISTA on my computers. LMAO!!!… I have a Vista DVD hung on my wall. Collecting dust. Where it’ll end up next is probably in the trash. If I get bored looking at it long enough. LMMFAO!!!…

hi peeps ive managed to set Extreme link 1.5.5 /usb Host/IR 3.6
To allow me to use my Xbox 360 Wireless joypad To Play games on the psp
ive got a wireless reciver for pc to use all my 360 wireless accessories on it
so i thought they had to be a way to use the IR shell to use wireless gamepad instead of a wired one
    Here is a vid i made http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TkUzDIhUO4s
was a bit tricky holding cam and using the 360 pad lol but anyways its all fun
i was playing Medievil Resurrection in the vid
Good work on the new extreme 1.5.5
    thanks again

Yes, I understand you posted the one on the DLL OCX Checker. but I need to confirm the one you get for the Software it self. If it’s a special error handler I put in I can track it down. If it’s not a special error handler I put in then I’ll have to put more error handlers on the next release so I, We can track that error code down to the right module. OK!

That I don’t know. I don’t make the usbhostfs’s and or the nethostfs’s. My program is only a front end. Making things quick and easy. Suggestion, Compress the game. Use the Ciso or the Cisoplus. remember you need them files and, Also need to set them in the settings.

Have you tried to use the IRShell instead of the DevHook. My psp died on using DevHook when I updated to CFW 3.40 OE. IRShell Seems to work good for me. It’s pretty simple to use. Read the Readme / Help for that. It’s in there for IRShell. Also. Since you are using DevHook. Are you trying to access a iso, cso, dax game that is higher in firmware then what you’re trying to emulate? If so You’ll get the errors and game crashes and also games that won’t load cause the firmware on the game is higher then the one you’re playing on. Suggestion. Put in a CFW. What one is on you.

OK Windwalker, That error message is a default error message. Which doesn’t give me a clue to what is causing it. So, Sometime in the next few days. I’ll put together a release that has all it’s own error handlers. This will or should be able to track down what’s causing it. So hold on to your panties and wait till I get to it.

I’m working on it. Have a few forms ready but there’s a total of 21 forms, 7 modules, 5 classes and 3 controls in this that are packed full of code. So it might take a few days.

    2007-08-28 10:55:10

OK, This is what I got so far. All forms, Modules, Classes have there own error handlers. If it is in one of them then It’ll have a Different Error Handling message. If so I need to see that Error Message. If it’s still looking like the last one then It’s some where in the Controls. http://trading-post.sytes.net:6969/forum/download.php?id=389

Remember, My Software is only a front end to the usbhostfs, nethostfs, ciso, and cisoplus. If you’re getting lag from the PSP scanning the Dir’ I suggest doing this. Make other Dir’s

    X:\PSP\ACTION\ISO
    X:\PSP\ADVENTURE\ISO
    X:\PSP\FIGHTERS\ISO
    X:\PSP\PLATFORM\ISO
    X:\PSP\RACING\ISO
    X:\PSP\RPG\ISO
    X:\PSP\STRATEGY\ISO

Keeping them into the folder of PSP then Seperate by Genre then into ISO folder. With the Favorites thing I put in you can add them into the favorites and with a single click you can access that Dir’ and Execute. Simple? Yes?

I aint worried about that. You have installed the above dll ocx files right? if you have then do not worry abou the Checker.

I narrowed it down to these 2 dll’s
    SHELL32.DLL
    Comctl32.dll
Search your comptuer for these 2 files. if you don’t have them. Then that could be your problem. Theres 2 other places that Extreme Link extracts the icon from a file and places it into A Lv in Extreme Link. And this is where you’re having the issues. Let me know if you aint got one of them.

All depends on the user and what they are gonna use it for. PS1’s, ISO’s, Homebrew and so on. I have yet to try M33’s CFW. Like I said. What CFW you use is on you. But remember trying to access a 3.52 game on a CFW 3.40 is not gonna work all the time. Some games work some do not. What you go with is on you.

The shell32.dll or the Comctl32.dll is one he ones that’s causing the issues. Make sure you have done a windows update. They also could not be Registered.

To restore this DLL, choose Start, Run, type regsvr32 /i shell32.dll, and press . (The /i switch stands for “install.”) A message tells you if the command worked. (You may need to restart Windows to see the effect.)

After doing so. Rerun the Extreme Link and open the Explore. If the errors still happen then it’s something else. But I highly doubt it. Could be that you’re on a different version of the dll’s

What you need to do is this. download the driver install i provide on my site. http://trading-post.sytes.net:6969/forum/viewtopic.php?t=186 Need further help you can post questions there also.
