Sleep’n'Wake 1.99 MULTi 8 Released

greg | August 12, 2007

Wake’n'Bake… err, I mean, Sleep’n'Wake! Just what every PSP owner needs for a wholesome sleep. Drift off to never-never-land while your tunes remain smooth, calm, and relaxing. Then before you know it, wake up to a sudden blast of music. MK2k’s Sleep’n'Wake does just that, and more…

Sleep'n'Wake screenshot

New features:

  • The Wake Playlist will be looped infinitely
  • Fade the Wake-Up Tracks in, set up a time interval for this
  • Save your Battery’s life, the PSP gets send into Suspend Mode after the last track in the Sleep List has been played, the PSP gets resumed one minute before the Wake Time — this feature could only be possible with the help of Adrahil and his (yet not fully complete, but hey! who cares?) AlarmLib -> NOTE: Activate this feature in the Customize Menu, it is deactivated by default
  • Customize the Font Colours
  • Multilanguage Support (EN_DE_FR_IT_NL_FI_PT_PT-BR)
  • PowerLock feature, if enabled will prevent the user from switching the PSP to Suspend by hand with nudging the Power Switch upwards (this is good, because switching the PSP to Suspend by hand causes it to never get back without removal of the Batteries)

Check the release thread for the previous feature set. Hope you’re enjoying your PS2 MK2k. :)

On the import website play-asia, the psp’s gps is finally on sale!! If you keep delaying like me, now would be a good time to try out gps. But the downside is you need a downgraded psp. Then you can download maps from googlemaps and use the Denniska homebrew. Anyway, here’s the link:

I love this thing… but I crash (PSP turns black then turns off after 2 minutes) when selecting Exit from the main menu. I’ve tried it in the GAME, GAME150 and GAME340 folders using the 1.50 kernel mode still no joy. Anyone know what I’m doing wrong? Thanks in advance.

Yep, exiting the app shuts the psp down. Not too troublesome for a little bug. This bug came when I switched to AlarmLib and thus letting the App being run in Kernel Mode.

Check if your mp3s are 44.1kHz, i doubt they are so you should convert them.

Maybe use Audacity for Convertion. Or try other mp3s which already are 44kHz.

You’re welcome :)
The Bitrate btw. should not be the problem, I had tested 8kbps up to 320kbps (cbr/vbr/abr) with 44kHz.

the snooze mode screws up after the first use, and sometimes the music doesn’t even play at all, works perfectly if you want to load it onto your memory stikc again and reset all the settings for every use

Sounds like your Memorystick is a bit screwed? Or maybe you use an 8GB Memstick?
