why does the screenshot say custom firmware 3.51 but its 3.40 ?

If the recovery is built into the PSP XMB then what if you brick? How can you recover?
Because to get to the recovery you need to have the XMB load right?

Or does it also have a recovery like before? Told R on bootup?

p00n from what i can tell you still get the old recovery mode.. except it now looks nicer and you can also get into it via the xmb as well the old way

if the kernels are merged… why does the recovery screenshot say “GAME folder homebrew” and ask what kernel to use?

Question is if this is as good as what Alex used to make and if its as good or better then M33’s stuff.

I really don’t get what the point would be in this unless it has better no-umd support. That feature works perfect on m33-2. Would it be possible to downgrading from 3.52 m33-2 back to 1.5 to try this out? Sorry for asking if it’s actually simple. I just want to know so I don’t end up bricking my psp.

downloaded and installed yes it says 3.51 in recovery menu but the actual menu is pretty sweet and looks good no iso without umd function thing i dont think but ye its ok but not as good as the OE/M33 CF’s

This seems coo, I just wonder whats the point in upgrading to 3.40 le. (I’m still running 3.40oe-a so for me it would be an upgrade) another thing: what are they trying to pull. Its says it 3.40 and 3.51 but in reality its nothing more than a 3.10. As of right now I dont trust them. I’m going to wait to hear more about this cfw before I even consider upgrading.

When I updated ta M-33 I tried it, and now does not work at all, so I went back to 3.40 OE-A, and still will not work what the hell have Team M-33 done…lol

I Have tried dumping it again and again and have tried my friends UMD but still nothing

Someone help, well if they can that is, Like I said I am not a Noob at all, but this is not right

and I will not try new CFW,s I have about 100-125 UMD’s plus 15 Luminees that I have bought knowing many cannot find,I just thought it would help with not having ta carry most of them with me, so back off young lad, just wondering if any one has had these problems at all

this 3.40 LE is not any better than M33. it looks good thats about it, but FUNCTIONALITY and OPTION wise the M33 is way better….I’ve tried the NO-UMD option, some games that worked with M33 “did not work” on this FW

AMEN to that bro. I tried it. it looks cool they did a good job on it. M33 still have the better functionality and simple recovery mode. This release is more on “PERSONAL” side rather than “PUBLIC” release. The M33 is super stable on the “NO UMD” side function. My umd lens is broken and I now enjoy my games again thanks to M33…..will wait for updates for now and see where this new 3.40 LE will take us.

I don’t wanna change to a new CFW. I have 3 reasons why:

1) M33 Custom Firmware is out and it’s 3.52
2) NO-UMD mode is awesome on M33
3) The new CFW (LE) is Fimware 3.40

And this is 2 reasons I might Go to this New CFW but am not:
1) XMB Recovery Menu
2) Popsloader 3.11pops is still functional.

I have yet to upgrade to 3.52 M33 CFW. I still have 3.40 OE because I wanted to keep my icons. But now that they released the icon thing I will upgrade. But I def. don’t plan on going to this just for nicer UI. I like that they integrated it into the XMB, but not worth getting for that.

this looks beter than m33 to me

m33 had a slowing down problem like u know o games whean it takes up all the screen and whean u scrool down it would lag all the way scroling down (in 3.50 m33 ) does it do it in 3.51 m33?

heres what happend -This is the initial release of our custom firmware. We completely reverse-engineered 3.10 OE, updated all the tweaks for version 3.40, and added our own sexy patches.

Does the new custom firmware 3.40*LE work with TA-82/TA-86 motherboard?

For some strange reason homebrew isn’t workingfor me. I though it was supossed to automatically scan for the firmware that the homebrew runs on. I messed around with the kernel setting and still no result so I updated to 3.52 M33

Ok, just so everyone knows. DO NOT USE THIS CUSTOM FW…at least not until the final comes out. I didn’t realize it was beta or whatever at first and tried to install it twice, and both times it failed under 3.52 M33-2 and corrupted the PSP’s settings, so it set it back on auto. Luckily i just reverted back to M33. I have nothing against the ppl who made it, afterall if it wasn’t for the PSP hackers I wouldn’t have even gotten one, but this version is highly unstable, you can try it if your using an original 1.50 PSP and not a downgraded one if you just wanna check it out, but don’t blame me if it bricks, if I were you and interested in this, just do yourself a huge favor and wait until a more final version is released, cuz most of you should agree that it isn’t worth spending another $150 or more on another PSP. hope it helps, and good luck to Team WildCard. this one just needs some more work :-)

I just upgraded from 3.4 oe-a to this and now i cant play UMDS play my GBA emu and when i go to recovery menu and to basic config i cant change the kernel my irshell does not work anymore….help me

Can anyone give me a REALLY GOOD REASON to use this firmware instead the 3.52-2 m33 I have right now? (which works PERFECTLY, it is HIGHLY STABLE and WITHOUT ANY PROBLEMS)

Why in the hell are you so negative about m33? Did anyone had any kind of problems? Serious problems, not things like me previous old themes don’t work in m33 (since the structure is slightly changed)!!!!!!!

I had many problems with 3.52 m33 / 3.52-2 m33 , I couldn’t get a lot of cso games to run (although 3.52 m33 to 3.52-2 m33 worked better), and I had tried all the combinations from the recovery menu. With this one, all of my games play, and didn’t have to change anything (only the kernel for the homebrew + transfer them to the equilevant directory).

So, if you have absolutely NONE problem with M33, stick with M33. If you experience game problems (not running at all), try 3.40* (always at your risk)

I tried it out and I prefer using this firmware over 3.40 oe because of the In-xmb configuration changing, and the better overall look. Looking forward to more from this team. Well done Wildc*rd and welcome to the big times!!
