Forum member “Bob Joe” has written a Windows app for complete simplicity when it comes to upgrading and/or downgrading your PSP’s firmware. Over in the forum thread you’ll notice two versions — Lite and Full. While the full version may seem more appealing, it’s quite a hefty download… I suggest using the Lite version — it packages the most recent M33-2 update and is significantly smaller in size. You will however be tasked with the responsibility of downloading the necessary firmware updates; luckily for you, we have them all right here. Other requirements included.

Hi I just update to this one and still could not get the “Remote Play” to work on my psp. When I plug the psp to the PS3 to register it. it saids “no psp connected” I am currently on M33-2. But my friend is still on 340OE and he got it to recgonize on the ps3. so anyone know how please help. many thanx

You can’t do anything with official 3.52 until (if/when) there’s a downgrader released for it.
Question does the m33-2 work with games like power stone and some of the new games that are comeing out cuz my psps can;t read umds and i need to use no umd insert settings in order to play the games but most don work on my 3.40 oe-a.
yes, 3.52m33 comes with sony’s own ISO loader, and it has loaded every single game so far ive thrown at it, even the ones OE couldnt…but this is all over the forums, i dont see why you needed to ask here
Yeah well geuss what 3.52m33 still doesn’t work with powerstone when i have no umd mode on so i’m still f*cked cuz my psp can’t read umds so i can’t play my favorite game powerstone anymore. bu8t at least it works with brave new story.

CSTA you really need to shut the fuck up already, when a downgrader comes out for 3.51 or higher it will be on the FRONT PAGE, i guarantee it. Just stay at 3.51 for a while, DO NOT update to any more official firmwares.

No, you can’t downgrade 2.82 with this.
You need to use the GTA-LCS unpatched UMD exploit or the Lumines UMD exploit to downgrade 2.82 ~ 3.50. Both from team N00Bz.

the only way for downgrade your 3.10 is, first you need upgrade it to a 3.50 because GTA is for 3.03. so you would have to use lumines to downgrade

you also have to upgrade to 3.50 and use lumines to downgrade. that downgrader upgrader thing wont work with your 3.30
I Love how the same questions keep getting asked over and over again. And usually things that are in an FAQ, or one of the many well written manuals that are posted on this very site. Everything is explained really well, you just need to have some common sense, which seems to be on short supply. Hey, guys, I need help
I tried upgrading from 3.10 OE-A to 3.40 OE-A and didn’t work.
The first step install the 3.40 OE-A Update Maker. Then I have to run it. The PSP reboots and everything goes all right.
The second step it installs the 3.40 OE-A Firmware Install. I click on it and it comes with the message “The game could not be started. (8002014C).
Am I missing anything ? Should I format my Memory Stick ?
WTF! Took so long to flash the 3.52.. almost 15mins.. Sigh :-(

So this “upgrader/downgrader” only serves for 1.50 users, OE users and M33 users? So NO 3.5X or TA board users?

This sucks why did they release it to have firmwares 23.10 through 3.52 on it if it cannot downgrade????? SO stupied unless everybody is lyin about the fact onmly 1.5 oe se and m333 can use it!

You need gta from what I have heard that my freind is what makes me mad the thing only works on 1.50 and cutom firmware thats why I am so freakin pissed but hopefully I did not dissapoint you I am not a noob but I am not a expert either!

Just a suggestion.
Instead of “going off” and taking out your frustrations on the people asking questions, why not point everyone to a FAQ or File that would answer the basic questions…What UMDs to have, what numbers to look for, mother boards, models, Firmwares, etc.
Some people can not afford to mess up their PSP/ with no hope of getting a new one. And buying useless games don’t really appeal either.
A little patience goes a long way.

I’m not the type of person to just flame people but you got to admit, lol it is kind of anoying when people read the comments on this same exact page asking for questions when the answer is infront of them lol. a few comments above,i gave a link and answerd their questions yet people still ask questions thats been already answered more than once. lol thats probably why people get frustrated and start flaming all time.

Thats the main problem twis, is that everyone wants everything handed to them on a silver platter. What I did, and everyone else should somewhat attempt (not being arrogant here if it comes across that way) is read the forum stickies, manuals, do searches, mainly READ. Do AT LEAST a couple hours of research before trying anything, then if you have a question, ask it in the forums where your supposed to, not on the comment threads for new apps.
Doing this you will be sure not to fux up your psp, or whatever your modding, ive modded every system i own in this way, and have yet to have a single bricked system, xbox, ps1/2, psp, dreamcast, etc….

you need an unpatched version of GTA to downgrade your 3.03 to a 1.50 then upgrade to custom firmware

yes it is possiable to downgrade your firmware from official 3.72.
first you need to grab your PSP, make sure the battery is charged above 89 percent any thing less this hack won’t work. now plug it into your plug it into your computer via a usb cable. for information on the proper usb go to http://www.youplusdieequalswin.com they have good usb cord thier for only 7.99 USD if you need one.
As soon as you connect your PSP to your Computer you pour water directly on your mother board. the resulting energy surge will downgrade your PSP and your computer and maybe your whole house, to the most basic Firmware. rubble and ash. what better way to downgrade your PSP then by starting a fucking in your house. and not only that, we will all get the pleasure of know another child who never learned how to read has been wiped from the face of thier earth. no longer able to spead his unwanted seed via date rape.
