Quake has recently released version 1.5.3 of Extreme Link. Extreme Link for Windows will likely appeal to those who always have their PC or notebook nearby, especially when kicking back with the PSP; all for the simple fact you may easily access your hard disk using NetHostFS or USBHostFS — just a few simple mouse clicks. It also provides a GUI front end for Ciso/CisoPlus. Extreme Link even integrates with Windows adding a right click context menu option to decompress image files, as well supports ISO/CSO file type association.

muhahaha, nice
sweet ! kudos to Quake !
Anyone know where to get NETHostFS for the pc … been googlein it and cant find it.
This is just the NETHost v1.5 http://trading-post.sytes.net:6969/forum/viewtopic.php?p=545#545 If you found another one more recent, use that
Quake, I have a request! Can you add IRShell’s key redirection (the one where you can use your PC joystick to play on the PSP via USBHostfs or NethostFs) feature on Extreme Link? I don’t plan on using IRShell because it takes too much space. :p
Anyways, nice update!
I’d have to look that up. I have yet to even install PDF reader. So, I haven’t read all the info of IRshell.
I still have other plans for things to put in this. When I get to it is another thing.
Is this http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/692 what you’re talking about? Cause if it is. It’s already an compiled exe. It’s not a command line application.
[quote] 3.3.3 Toggle USBHost Redirection:
Toggle usbhost0 to ms0 mapping. With usbhost0 to ms0 mapping on, all access to ms0: device
(the memory stick) will be redirected to usbhost0: (your computer). This will make the
contents of your PC’s USBhostFS root folder appear as if it is actually your memory stick. This
will allow your existing homebrew applications to access files on the PC without modifications.
Only use this option if absolutely necessary. There has been much confusion over its usage. In
most cases you do NOT need this.
3.3.5 Toggle NetHost Redirection:
Toggle nethost0 to ms0 mapping. With nethost0 to ms0 mapping on, all access to ms0: device
(the memory stick) will be redirected to the nethost0: (your computer). This will make the

Doesn’t say anything about that. You got me.
This isn’t working for me. I do “Select and Execute”, select my iso foler, then say yes to execute, and I get this error:
“File not found - Extremelink - 53″
Where can I get these files? I tried reinstalling, it didn’t help.
Did you ship the DLL / OCX Checker? Also. You’ll need the usbhostfs/usbhostfs_pc config’ed in the options. Need them files. Look at link above and goto PSP you’ll find them.

hello how do i get this to work with new cfw and vista pc???????????
Vista NOT SUPPORTED! I don’t have a vista comp to work out the details to make it work.
Too bad this is just for Windows. Sounds good though. I’ll give it a go under Wine.
Sorry Quake but the link you gave me is the other way around. Here is what the IRSHell’s manual says, on page 3 under the feature highlights of the app:
“Allow redirection of PSP keypad to PC Keyboard or PC Joystick via USB or WiFi. You can,
for example, use a Xbox/Xbox360 gamepad with 2 analog sticks to control movement
and aim in a FPS, like Syphon Filter. No more awkward control with PSP buttons for
aiming.”
That’s the one I’m hoping you could add into Extreme Link someday. :)
That would be nice. But that’s something that would have to be drivers on a CFW wouldn’t it? Inless you know of something I don’t know. Is there?
I see the FAQ question what you’re referring to now. But, I have not found where to get the files to do what needs to be done. I’ll keep looking.
Thanks Quake! And I’m not forcing you to do it, just a recommendation. With or without it Extreme Link is already useful anyways! XD
I couldn’t find any of the files that is needed for it.
Someone has them. Hit my website for contact details.
ok i install and it said component ‘MSCOMCTL.OCX’ or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid what do i do i allready re downloaded it
Maybe run the ocx dll checker. 8-|
After searching for a few hrs today. I finally found a place that offered the dl for this file.
I’ll be checking into this file for the next few days. Getting all the help codes it has embedded in it if any.
Be sure to look forward for support of the Joy.exe in the next release. “That’s if I can get it to work.”
Thanks for the heads up on this little app ‘arcsy’
