Extreme Link 1.5.2 Final Released!
greg | July 6, 2007
Update: Still using 1.5.2B11? C’mon… That’s sooooo 10 minutes ago… Here is 1.5.2 final with the following additions/fixes:
Extreme Link: General
- Fixed: Right click Ciso GUI Delete
Extreme Link: Options
- Added: Auto Execute
- Added: Auto CisoPlus Normal
- Added: Auto CisoPlus GUI
- Added: GUI Options – Message, Auto Delete File
- Added: Lv ForeColor – Text Color Change
- Fixed: Version Info Color – Unlockable
Extreme Link: Ciso
- Fixed: Auto Delete – Delete bug after deleting first file.
You can now associate *.ISO and *.CSO files with Extreme Link using the “Auto Execute” feature. Ensure your options are all set, browse to any ISO/CSO on your hard disk, right click, and select “Open With…” Find & select “PSP Extreme Link.exe.” Afterwards, double clicking an ISO/CSO will auto-execute Extreme Link’s Ciso, CisoPlus, and GUI options.
Avid PSP Hacks readers should be well aware of Extreme Link by now… Quake has given us a number of updates in the last couple of days and 1.5.2B11 surely aims to please.
Yesterday we saw a new version of CisoPlus with support for “Lost Areas.” (click here to learn about that…). While CisoPlus remains a command line tool — not the most friendliest of interfaces — Quake has taken the initiative by adding support for these new features to Extreme Link’s CisoPlus front end. Now take full advantage of kapoue3’s powerful CSO compressor with ease!

Good job Quake.

Awesome! Thanks Quake!
Super Nice !!! Thanks !!!!!
does this mean we can run an iso from a pc’s hard drive that we have legally backed up? does it show in the xmb; tried to use this program previously, but do not understand if it’s just to sort files or find files from psp; should I download? if so, can someone tell me it’s purpose; sry, still a noob; thanks!
well what i know about ciso is that the one u have backedup become a ISO file right. With this program u can Compress the File to CSO (its like Zipping a file/make it smaller) so it fits more on your memory stick and i think u can copy the file to your psp to the right directory aswell. i didnt use this program for a long time but i will try it out another time. But that is one of those things the program can do. goodluck
This was made back when DevHook was brought out and CFW wasn’t around. Since then CFW took over and the need for DevHook was pretty much dead. (”Although, I kinda see it coming back again”) Now you’ll need IR Shell or File Ass’ I’m not sure what one works. Like I’ve stated before I can’t work mine. Since I went to CFW My USBHost port went to sh*t. Believe me, I’ve tried taking the PSP back to 1.0 then using DevHook again and It’s still F*cked. Anyways. If I could get mine to work. I’d write a help section on itfor CFW PPL. If someone knows of how to make it work. Write a help and I’ll add that into the next release with your credit.
Thanks,
Quake
