Custom Firmware 3.50 OE is Coming!

I won’t bother attempting translation of the entire french article over at PSP-Gen; however, its been stated that Dark_AleX and Mathieulh have commenced development on Custom Firmware 3.50 OE yesterday.
According to PSP-Gen it is 5% complete and should be ready as quickly as previous custom firmwares. So perhaps we’ll see it by the weekend, or next week…

Well, there is more emphasis on cracking firmwares to produce OE’s than there is attempts to make a downgrader. However, I can imagine that probably by the end of the year someone will have found a way.

You can see them in the official 3.50 features, the 3.50 oe-c as the others oe, will have the plus of having the greatest invention for the psp owners, the recovery mode, and the features found in the 1.50 firmware.
i have 3.40 oe-a and im waiting a while untill they make a recovery eboot and make custom theme packs for this firmware oh and i hope he fixes the problem with brightness on homebrew.
Actually, the 3.03 recovery EBOOT still works in 3.40, as far as I know.

I hopes it better than 3.40oe, i put it on and took it off a couple days later. Many of my csio’s wouldnt work and i couldnt get umd mode too work with csio’s. I do appreciate dark alex tho ..just hope this one works better.

Hello again psp-hacks followers I want to say it´s great dark alex will release 3.50 OE and I wanted to report the pda program for psp it´s failing and everytime I try to listen a mp3 or change the theme and the blue screen appears and when that happen this shit erase a random file in my MS this thing destroyed personal jpgs and familiar videos and corrupted my mvspsp files try to make a backup guys!!

so did you upgrade your ps3 to 1.81 too? I want to use the remote play over the internet feature but am scared to upgrade my ps3’s firmware in case its “unhackable” or “un-downgradable”
well no big deal since only “”5%”" of it is complete now. would of be better when he tells us “its almost done” OR like “50% of it is done”

true that, true that, im being honest here. when i first got my psp i just thought about smashing the damn thing agains the wall. but then i traded it with my friend got a downgrade and tada now i run oe. games, movies, music, oh its awsome and the best thing is the games down lag :) unlike those UMDs.

This is great news, I was just on a forum of which I post and someone asked “When is 3.50 OE coming out anyway”!? We had this big discussion about the amount of time it takes to crack and all of that and all the sudden I found this post, very awesome to hear that Dark_Alex is up to it again! I still love 3.40 OE, but this will most likely have all of the bugs fixed out because he’s taking his time ;-) can’t wait!

Hey Sweet that DarK_AleX is releaseing a new CF, i think it would be sweet if he made it so you can veiw your pictures and change settings while playing music in the xmb and not have to use a progra to do all of the above. music should be at constant play unless turned off by the user.
Im happy to hear he made another fw now I use the 3.30oea and sadly to say im unhappy with the stupid line under the music, games, and remote play icons. It really messes up the look on the wallpaper. I didnt bother upgrading to 3.40oea because i heard that the popstation doesnt work that well like resident evil and ff8 freezes midpoint. and also no xmb flash themes but i got close to bricking one time with the gears of war theme but it was worth it when i got it to work. DarK_AleX nice work french dude? if i had money to spend id donate every penny to keep up your glorious custom fw updates.
