PSPWebcam — View A Webcam Feed on the PSP!

This is pretty cool — Xarro’s PSPWebcam. View your webcam feed on the PSP — any webcam, in full screen, and even take some photos while you’re at it! PSPWebcam involves a semi-tedious setup; with exception of the slow frame rate, the results are awesome.
Lights, camera, action!
A copy of IR Shell must be installed prior to using PSPWebcam.
The quick n’ dirty setup guide:
- Extract the rar archive. (PSPWebcam.rar)
- Open PSPWebcam folder
- Open usbhostfs.exe
- Open PSPWC > Applications > pspwebcam > PSPWeb.exe
- On the PSP:
- Open IR Shell
- Go to first icon: Directory view
- Open usbhost0:/
- Open PSPWC > EBOOT.PBP
- View the Camera!
Unfortunately, for the moment, PSPWebcam does not function on Windows Vista; you’ll need XP.

is their anyway, i can install jst the pc side, then from any compter log onto the computer and watch with webcam? cause i need that soon like in a week! lol
just use windows media encoder and select webcam as iput, forward the port and access it from any windows media player using http://you.ip.address:port (the one the encoder is on)

I did this with IP cam a few months back.
Set up your webcam as an ipcam and paste the url into ur psp browser. Frame rate is exceptionally slow though.

wow, have you bothered to look at this “video”, it’s the psp, showing that the PSP is displaying the webcam, he pointed the web cam at the PSP and it created an “infinite window”
Safren you moron, its not fake. PSP-Hakcs wouldnt post anything fake because then people wouldnt take them seriously. Its obviously been tested prior by them…and thousands of others
WOW! Dude, nice work on this, but your camera work in general is crap. The quality of video is shit. Frame rate is also a failure… Hell I get better quality and frame rates on by piece of shit cell phone.
THis software needs more improvements, hands down. Thanks for taking time to get it working, but in my opinion, this is a BETA program that needs major tweeks still
