ZX-81 Galore! PortableVNC & TI-92 Updates!
greg | June 16, 2007
After a long day of moving, I see ZX-81 has had a long day himself… Not only has he released an update to PortableVNC and his popular TI-92 calculator emulator; ZX-81 has shared with the world his very own PSP Development Kit for Linux — the one that he actually uses for developing his homebrews.
Lets get down to business…
PortableVNC v1.2.5 changes:
- Real hostname are now supported in the configuration menu! It should be useful if you want to connect to your PC from anywhere and if you have a dynamic IP. Of course you can still specify a static IP address
- IR Keyboard is now active in all menus
- New keyboard mapping (previous one was very confusing)
- Display help on keys to use for each menu
PSPXTI v1.2.0, the TI-92 calculator emulator that I mentioned above, now features IR keyboard support! Hells yeah!
And for all the developers running Linux out there, you can fetch ZX-81’s PSP Development Kit directly from his subversion (svn) repository: # svn co svn://svn.pspdev.org/psp/trunk
Enjoy the downloads!

VNC doesnt work for me, but ti-92 is really cool
Thanx ZX-81!!
(first)
Sweet I all ways use the Ti-92 on my math tests.
well, vnc works better, but still, it doesnt, anyways its probably bcuz my res is 1680×1050, ill try it at a lower res
I
just a question why we arent getting improof of any speeds on the vnc i would like to see more updates on that and sorry for my bad english
Does VNC work when a WPA password is enabled?
how do you hack your psp?
what is VNC?
Try searching google before asking such simple questions. Its software that allows you to remotely control a PC over a network or if you wish over the internet. Your welcome….
This version of VNC won’t start, it keeps failing with FW 1.5. It won’t boot even in Devhook FW 3.11, I’m reverting back to version 1.2.3. last known version to work for me.
this is shit
i know on the last version, i set up everything right(so I thought) and i kept gettin a error mess. something like “Error Connecting -1/125″ ..I havent try this version, but does anyone know what that means .. and also .. My dad ran a couple scans and 2 scans found it to be malaware .. could just be a false positive tho.
works absolutely perfectly for me, just wish you could alter the resolution to attempt to fit in one screen as im running a 19 inch widescreen so gets a bit annoyin, can only be a matter of time before a vnc listener is out for the psp so we can watch on our screen whats happening on the psp
