becus25 and brethren have combined efforts to provide the community with a DevHook compatible version of Custom Firmware 1.62 IE-D Update2.
Maybe you’re a bit hesitant to re-flash your PSP with another custom firmware. But aren’t you still the least bit curious to see what it’s all about? Now with absolutely no risk of bricking the PSP (if you can follow instructions carefully) you may emulate 1.62 IE-D with the use of BOOSTER’s DevHook. It’s reported to work with an older version, DevHook 0.46.
Installation is actually a breeze — see ‘readme.txt’ for the quick ‘n dirty, as well as some necessary precautions to be aware of.

devhook is still good in my opinion
Yessir, I’m definately gonna upgrade ;)
:D
I love DevHook, I really really really do love DevHook.
Does this actually have any benefits over 3.40 OE-A?
Ummmm, USB Support! Duh!
I’m sorry, what do U mean by USB support? You can use this custom firmware to actually use usb storage devices or computers like a MemStick?
Yeah,
un dont seem like a big woop to me that you can use usb storage, you can just use psp link with 3.40 oe-a or do you mean that it works in a different manner?
when is there going to be a new OE
Oh, how I do love pointless crap.
does this work with any firmware? or do u need to have a specific fw?
mmm sorry my bad.. it for f/w 1.50 to emulate high firmwares.. right? should have read it properly before posintg xD lol
It can work for firmware 2.71 as well since DarK_AleX made the Devhook applications for 2.71.
Does The no UMD option work with this upgrade?
