PSPSSH now has IR keyboard support! Something I’m sure most PSPSSH users have been waiting for; I certainly have. ZX-81 has implemented Infra-red (IR) keyboard support based on the work of Harald Fielker, author of the PSP IR Keyboard Library.

ZX-81 mentions PSPSSH v1.0.6 has been tested with the Targus Universal IR Wireless keyboard. I can also confirm that it works wonderfully with the palmOne Universal Wireless Keyboard. Don’t forget to open & edit “pspirkeyb.ini” to define the appropriate keyboard.

And if you need to ask what PSPSSH is, most likely you won’t require it. But I’ll enlighten you anyway… PSPSSH is ported from Matt Johnston’s Dropbear SSH server & client. It permits remote access to any PC running a SSH server — whether it be Linux, FreeBSD, etc… Ideal for system administrators on-the-go.
