hey can anyone please help me please ok so i tryed downgradeing my psp 2.71 to 1.5 then afte rthe red screen it just goz black and teh memorystick light still blinjks and umd drive still works just its not booting 2 xmb please help me celestino.canto@hotmail.com
Upgrade from 2.71 to 2.80 and then downgrade to 1.5. with the prog on the AIO section. Worked for me.
After playing with the GUI code. I discovered that the Ciso.exe is the app that locks up the software. CisoPlus.exe does not do this in GUI. This will be the next feature. CisoPlus GUI Frontend. I will also be adding Dos GUI frontend command. Reason for that is CHKDSK X: (PSP MEM) /f Nothing major but could come in handy. Especially if you don’t feel like opening up the dos window. All updates can be checked through the Options/Update - Check

I am having a problem with DJ Max portable 2 iso, i have 3.40oe-a on my ceramic white psp and sometimes when i play a song on one of the stages it getts messed up and my psp freezes on me. has anyone had that problem wiith that game? if so can you please tell me why it is doing that and what i can do to fix it. that would be really apreaciated. oh and im not using this link thing im playin the iso on my psp just so you know thanks.
um i was wondering if there was anyway 2 fix my psp used the easy downgrader on this site (2.71)long story short after the red screen psp dos not boot up 2 the xmb but its not really a brick because it reads my memorystick because i see red light flashing and umd drive still spins and all that i was wondering if there was a way 2 fix teh files that wherent flashed proply and please any help will be greatly thanked because i Love psp hacking and teh homebrew community and i really dont want 2 leave it and PS this site is amazing even if i cant fix my psp ill still come 2 this site ever day like always because this community is just great =)

At this point, I think you have bricked. I once did something similar (before the days of the 2.80 downgrader). The 2.71 downgrader has some bgs that cause things like this, which are, unfortunately, not recoverable, especially if you used the wrong version (for example, non-TA-082).
For more help or suggestions, you might want to try posting in the forums.
dont bother with the forums, no need for second opinion on that one. you have a brick. pure and simple. ms flashing and disk spinning always happen its just the hardware initialisiing.
if you cant access recovery on a psp that wont boot to xmb and isnt on a custom firmware then it is a brick. nothing you can do apart from
a) new psp
b) replace psp motherboard
c) install modchip (devolution or undiluted platinum)

well thank you for all your help everyone and you all bin very kind and i wish you all the best with your psp’s as for me i got 2 ebay my brick and buy a new one because motherboard replacements just not worth it $70 i could by a refurbished for 100 so yeah thanks for all your help or i may just buy a new one at walmart and return the brick in the new box =P well anyways thanks you are all so kind and you people are the people taht make the internet a helpful place and not just a place good for porn thanx bye

I do not have Vista and or XP. But, I have heard that it does work with XP. Vista isn’t far off from XP. I’d just give it a try if you haven’t yet.
