holy christ…installed it and it works perfect, and i thought this would be NEVER possible…only problem is the fraps…it’s a bit slow.

this is really cool, havnt managed to get it working on 3.03-C so i guess its time to upgrade :D hopefully one day their might be some way of streaming a composite signal (really dont think so) and then watch movies etc from psp on tv

i got it working but when ever i try 2 play a game off the memory stick i loose usb connection to my pc but the game still gose in. so i cant see it on ma monitor any1 no what games work i got 3.40 oe-a

I got it work9ing on 3.30OE-A but when i load a game, it will crash at one point or another. Sweet idea, i love it .. but it doesn’t wortk 100% yet.

This works perfect on 303 oec, but only with a few games look in the forums for a list of games that work

Got it working in a matter of seconds on 3.40 OE-A, works great, no problems at all. All my ISO’s and UMD’s worked fine.

As far as i know, there’s 2 modes, the first is when the .prx files are disabled and you start them manually through the game menu, this works fine and you can navagate, but it says you can’t use for Video’s or Games. The other way (the way to play games) is to load the .prx via the 3.40 recovery boot menu, however, even though I’ve done all that, the USB host doesn’t connect to the psp…… help?

Grrr, i’ve been trying this since yesterday and still can’t get it to work :( .
I’ve got the PRX’s turned on in the recovery menu.
I turn on my psp then start up the app, follow the instructions, my psp shows up as connected and everything, but i get no image just a black screen on my pc.
I can use Vlink to get the xmb showing on my pc screen.
It’s only games that wont show up when im using the prx files…
Anyone know how to fix this?.

I dont get it, usbhostfs_pc says I’m connected, but when I type “%loadjoy” in the pspsh thingy it doesn’t do anything!

Just for all you who cant get it to work…

First follow the libusb instructions to setup the usb link.
Then copy the files to ur psp according to the other instruction file.

Once you have done that to play games do the following:
Enable the two prxs in the recovery menu(you should know how to do that).
Then go to your game without running any of the files on ur pc or starting the psplink app on ur psp.
Get to the part you want to play at (skip the intros etc).
Then on ur pc start usbhostfs and remotejoy (whicheverone you want).
You DO NOT need to start pspsh.
You should now see ur psp on ur pc.
If you are using fullscreen and you see nothing press F3 it should work.

If ur usbhostfs isnt working and you are using the one included i dont know whats wrong.

You cant change the frame rate it just shows what it is. If you make your screen res lower it makes a big difference.

hey i got some of the psp controls correspoding to the computer keys obvious ones are arrow keys s = triangle and enter = start anyone found any more??

For those getting a connection and everything setup perfectly but for some reason you can’t get it to work in game using the instructions provided… Press F3 on your keyboard once you’re in-game. Works for me, just a shame it’s not very stable. Still, very cool if a little jittery.

This is a great app-props! I tested Lumines and Need For Speed Underground. Aside from the obvious kwirks I noticed that you can’t save or load a game so it seems that it will be useless until that is fixed - unless someone know a way around that. Also tested psx games and console emulators with no result. I can’t wait till these minor things are fixed so we can enjoy it to the fullest.

This might be a stupid question but this only works on UMD games for the moment? And if the prx’s are enabled in the recovery menu how do I know if they load on startup?

Solution to get around the save/load problem… Load BEFORE you turn on start_remotejoy ’s. Turn it off before you save and it should be fine as well.

guys i just figured out how to get it to work you need to grab the other left out usbhostfs.prx from the psplink game folder and copy it to seplugins get it in game .txt too and i asure you itll work i just played gta lcs umd . then when you have that done stat usbhostfs.bat and start the game you want ,then you can start one of the screens when the screen apears blank press f3 then there you go hope that helped and remember to have all three enabled in the recovery menu..remotejoy.prx psplink.prx ..and usbhostfs.prx!!

new problum i have the .prx’s and game.txt in my seplugins folder and its on my memstick root but when i go to my recovery menu and go to plugins it shows none.

they can take snapshots quick enough to make a movie cant they? so why not make a homebrew that takes the shots and saves them meanwhile the pc is connected thru wifi with an app that retrieves and displays the snapshots like a live feed? of course theres more to it than that, but just as a basic idea. anyone?

I desperately need ur guidance, I have FM 1.5 I followed the instruction and copy the files in to my memory sticks, when I started the PSPLink v3.0 OE on my psp and it said, ” The game could not be started” and I know it shouldn’t do that. My question is do I need to upgrade to FM 3.4 OE? or how can I make this baby works!

I have 3.40 and Net Framework 2.0 did all that they said to do. Libusb thingy is installed and says PSP Type B manufacturer Sony. I start the PSPlink program on the psp and it doesnt recognize that its registered. It says usb device. On the psp link screen it says

Error 0×800200D9 loading module.

what the hell does that mean.

Well the only thing i cant get around is that my computer only recognizes the psp as a USB device when trying to set up the first step. I dont know what to do…

Whenever I try to go fullscreen my screen kinda turns off and doesnt come back on lol unless I make it, by which time the program has crashed. I might try it with another game though.

Hi I’m back! Answers to some common probs:

If you get a ‘Error 0×800200D9 loading module’ error it means you have the prxs enabled in the recovery menu. You would only want to use the psplink program if you want to view ur XMB, but currently there is no point in doing that unless you want ti to look cool… If you do want to use the psplink prog then prxs must be disabled.

If you want to play games through this then all you have to do is this: Enable the prxs in the recovery menu. Then with the usb cable plugged out, go to the game you want and get past all the intros and loadings etc. Once you’re at the part where you want to play, start the usbhostfs bat file and the remotejoy bat file (whichever version typw you want). If ur using the full screen one you must press F3 to activate video!

mine said this program COULD be malicious we reccomend you delete it. But i still used it. and it worked… after 4 hours :D

Please help. When I run PSP LINK. my computer saids that it found new hardware and needs to install new hardware. The hardware wizzard came up. I click install but comp couldn’t find the file. so my psp doesn’t show up on “My Computer” But when i use USB Connection on the psp. it shows up on “My Computer” It doesn’t show when i run “PSP Link”. he should have added that the usb drivers are in a zip file in the archive you haver to unzip them then point to them in the hardware find wizard jobs done, dont worry about what device you tell it to find as long as you click on have disk

works fine. its very much proof that it can be done rather then a fully functional viewer as the fps is slow. still a gr8 achievement

man this is great i have tekken running at a steady and ver playable speed and i was even able to save and load nice

wow alot of people are having probs with this hmm lets see the steps are easy maybe this will help

1=install libusb drivers- simple start psplink on your psp with te usb connected. on your pc you should get the new hardware found message. when it asks how to find the drivers choose to do it yourself.after that choose have disc and browse to the usblib folder(you have to unzip it from the remotejoy file included)and choose the psp file inside the drivers foler.click next and finished your done with that part.

Step2=use remote joy

now there are two ways to do this one way though only lets you see your xmb if you try to start anything it will freeze so im not going to tell you that way.

the way to play games is easy first start by copying the SEplugin folder(included in download) to the root of your mem stick. Go into your recovery menu and activate both then start your psp. Now this important on your pc start the bat files in order. start usbhost, start pspsh and any remotejoy you want(fullscreen or psp size).

Step3= your done your psp is ready to play on your pc moniter make sure its pluged in with usb and start a game off a umd or iso then remote joy should start when the game starts on your psp.

oh and i forgot you load the prxs and go to the menu without starting psp link and you start you game it if you did everything else right it will show uo after the psp boot screen for games

hmm only thing i can think of is the drivers and did you copy the whole SEplugin to your mem stick or just the prxsfiles i think you need all of them
