PSPXTI v1.1.0: PSP TI-92 Calculator Emulator

greg | May 13, 2007

ZX-81 back up in the house crunching numbers with a port of XTiger — an unix emulator of Texas Instruments TI-92 calculator. Originally written by Jonas Minnberg, and later passed to Misha Nasledeov with permission to GPL it; ZX-81 picked up on that opportunity and does what he does best — ports it to the PSP!

You will require a TI-92 or TI-92+ rom to use this homebrew.

To all the people being happy about a new ‘free calculator’: You do know, legally you are only allowed to use the ROM if you already OWN this calculator right?

Meh.

I was using the other version of this. Very well made and very useful. Makes graphs in Physics nice and easy, plus, give me an excuse to play with my PSP in class!

oh i think you will find that everyone downloading this, already owns a Ti-92,oh yes indeed i know i do! and the fact that the post states “Download that below (only if you have an original TI-92 ;)).” notice the double bracket at the end, whys that there? oh wait its winking at me….hmmmm what does that mean? maby it means to hell with the legality of copyright issues? who knows….this is a great piece of homebre tho :D

this is honestly very cool, although i think it’s still a little difficult to use it practically, it’s nice to keep on your PSP.

My younger brother asked his teacher and it is no problem at all, as long as CAS calculators are allowed in the tests.

oh god… this answers one of my longest running dreams, I must admit that I am still in high school, and thieves are quite plentiful, so now, if someone takes my REAL graphing calculator, I can have this as a backup…

wait a sec… if they take my PSP too…

OH SHI-

I’ve been wondering about some stuff…
how does one go about pressing the exponent key? and also, is there a way to make 3D graphs?

Absolutely amazing. This damn near brought a tear to my eye. I let one of my friends borrow my TI-92, who promptly lost it and I’ve been without it for a long time. I was going through withdraw…then I found this app. Works like a charm. interface takes a bit of getting used to, but once you get the hang of it, you’re good to go. works flawlessly…and faster than my 92 ever did :D

thank you to all who’ve made this available.
