PSP Sound Pulse Mod Diagrams
greg | April 24, 2007
Now you can do it too! Acidmods have launched their insightful PSP Hardware Modding Wiki; persons with the desire to learn how all this cool stuff works, raise your hand.
Up now is the PSP Sound Pulse modification whom many have requested for quite some time. A steady hand and some technical know-how is obviously required, as it involves complex soldering and PSP disassembly.

This is the wiring diagram for the pulse to sound mod for the PSP. This mod will require advanced soldering and PSP disassembly. This mod has been requested on the AcidMods forum for many months as soon as CyberPyrot and F00 F00 had a free moment they went and bought some IC’s from the local geek store and sat down to brain storm. Five minutes later they had a working prototype which only worked with headphones or external speakers as seen in Grandpasmurfs video on youtube. Thinking this would apease the masses we moved onto other things. Soon there where many emails asking if we could do this on the internal speakers. So once again F00 and the pyrot sat down to work things out not long after the internal setup was invented.

*raises hand*
Fail.
Not impressed.
Shut up, nerd. Nobody wants to hear your belittlements.
Ideed, if you wanna talk shit play Runescape.
I am confused.
Are you talking to me or to him?
I am not talking shit…
and what makes me a nerd?
We are all nerds, posting on a psp hacks forum?
I believe he was agreeing with me. I called you a nerd because you used the minimalist sentence style when you stated “fail” and “not impressed” as if you’re sitting in your computer chair with a rigid back and arms crossed at the front with your nose in the air.
The point of the news is not to impress, but to inform those less informed, and to let people know that you can now do it on your own. They didn’t fail at anything, and yet you uselessly stated that they did for no reason. I’ve noticed that this is something that those kinds of nerds that I hate do.
This technology was patented by Microsoft © (patent #45234904873523049715345902). Cease production immediately, or we will sue Sony for patent infringement. What does Sony have to do with it? They have a lot more money than you do.
O RLY?
is that for real???????????? besides its not sony doing this its some random ppl that we dont know who they really are.
what the fuck are you guys talking about? why would microsoft have a patent of a wiring mod for the psp? exactly… they dont
this is pretty tight, i might try it someday
if only i had a soldering wand and a little practice all the doors to the psp would be opened to me. execpt cfw writing.
Nice job. Now, if only i could mod my psp so the everytime i pressed the o button it made mocha…
psp is dead.
WTF? If it is dead, why are you here? Go somewhere else with your negative attitude.
LOL I think he meant he was stupid enough to try this mod out without having the skills to do it…. and he dead his PSP or something stupid like that.
HAHAHAHA OWNED
This is cool. I’ll be doing this for Stereo Pulse soon. Seeing that it works on speaker outputs.
Now, where’s the TUT’ for the duel nub. I’d like to see how that was done and what is needed for this to work.
As for anyone that wants to know how much the chip cost at your local radioshack. here’s the linkage

There has GOT to be a simpler way to make your psp louder.
Whats Resistors was used?
191k ohms ¼ Watt ?
191k ohms ½ Watt ?
