PSP Studio Max Ultimate
greg | April 7, 2007
RE_AnimAte’s PSP Studio Max is a great development platform for LUA developers getting their start in the homebrew scene. Write code, test, compile — all in one centralized environment with plenty of documentation to assist in your coding journey.
With a bit of help from ~Maniac~ i managed to make a rocking or swangin update to my PSP Studio Max!
there are sooo many fixes and add ins that i just cant list them all
one things for sure tho… the coding bit is 95% complete (the other 5% for extra add ins i may want to put in lol)
ive also removed the cmd prompt and had the error list print to a text box rather then a cmd screen
im working on visual programming now and will start on making themes and music for it
Microsoft’s .NET Framework 3.0 is required. Download it here.

Anyway, this thing looks absolutely amazing. I tried before to get into the homebrew scene, but it became so complicated that I just gave up. This might just give me that boost I need to jumpstart my homebrew projects!
Do not get so upset just ignore them like i do.
About this Homebrew app now this is going somewhere!!
Keep it going re-animate
Language!
I cant wait to get my account back, Anyone says ” Yay 1st post ” on my entries will be deleted! :P
it is nice software yes.
im with u man, im sick of these fuckin pussies wasting peoples time with saying they post first. noone gives a fuck!
Anyway ya this looks great! Any chance this is compatible with mono for linux?
Do you have the resources/experience to make a Mac or Linux version? I absolutely love using this on my Windows computer, but I hate having to use Windows just for this app (I always use my dual-boot OSX/Ubuntu MacBook for everything except this.)
I can’t speak for them,
But since it requires the .Net framework 3.0 It’ll be difficult to port.
mono..?
I used .NET 2.0 and it works
sweet… well i was asuming it needed the .net 3 framework as i was usining the .net 3 framework patch for my compiler
n e way what do u guy want to see in this?
make it go mooooooooooooooo at start up! lol
i wasnt jokin
lol! hell yes!
moooooooooooo!
thats a cow if you were wonderin
well if anyone noticed there is a small error in this app when you select it to make screen:print() it uses a . instead of a :
This is starting to look good re_animate – great work. I think the actual “Game Maker” part of it will be really tricky.
As just a code editor, it’s still good though.
I wish you luck on the actual aim of this project, although it WILL take up a lot of your free time :P
GRRRRRRR NOOOO!!! i found out that the source code got deleted off my hdd and i tryed file recovery but no use… i have to start from scratch
Hi. Wgat program language is this in. Thanks.
This GUI uses the LUA programming language.
LUA has been adapted (via the LUAPlayer Homebrew app) for the PSP. It is now possible to make an app through LUA, then recompile it so that it runs “stand-alone” – that is, it runs from the “Games” Menu on the PSP
If you mean what programming language the actual GUI was made in…
I actually have no idea. My guess would be C++, C, or maybe some other language.
Telling by the need of the .NET framework I guess it’s made in C#
it is made in vb.net
i can say for sure cause i helped re_animate with it ;-)
Just what I was looking for :-). I guess the creator used 3D Studio Max a lot ;).
Yep!! ur rite about that!
im a n00b . I have NO idea how to use this program…
I have Windows Vista and when I tried to install .NET Framework 3 it kept saying I need Windows XP SP2. Does anybody know a way around this? I have already tried the backwards compatability option in the control panel.
^Never mind.
vista comes with .net.
