Ms Master 2.02f Compact *Updated*
greg | March 29, 2007
Update: As requested from myself, and a few others, XsavioR aims to please with Ms Master 2.02f — you can now specify a different installation path! Hooray!
2.02f changes:
- added ability to change install dir
- made it so msbind icon doesn’t reconfigure every time
Update: “Ms Master 2.02e” is now available with support to backup / restore your “seplugins” folder only; in case you hose your plugins by whatever means, why wait for the whole MS to backup, right? ;)
2.02e changes:
- Backup seplugins folder (right click menu)
- Restore seplugins option (gui)
It’s always best practice to format the memory stick (MS) prior to flashing a new [custom] firmware to your PSP. It’s even wiser to create regular backups to ensure no data loss or corruption. So why not keep yourself disciplined with XsavioR’s newly introduced “MS Master” application. It’s very easy, and actually quite useful.

Ms Master 2.02d Compact provides a sophisticated backup / restore method which supports the following:
- backup ms
- restore ms
- bind ms to one of 3 backups
- template dumping for redundant backups
- backup Gamesaves
- restore Gamesaves
- utils folder for easy backup / restore
- mycomputer right click options
- dump Ms to Template dir
- restore MS from Template dir
You must accept the default installation directory, otherwise paths won’t register properly; but that’s minor.
To install: Run Msmaster2.0.exe then Desktop.exe. Connect your PSP, run “Bind MS” from the Desktop, follow the instructions, and disconnect / reconnect your PSP thereafter. The rest should be straight forward; run “Ms Master” from the desktop or right click the PSP removable drive from “My Computer.”

Awesome*
Let me know if any one thinks of an option it doesnt have. This version is fully functional I dont expect More updates unless I change how it works or add new features. (like deleting backups). But i use the hell outta this while testing new brew.
My only comment would be to make the default directory something different. I like to keep things clean so all programs go in program files\whatever.
Do you really REALLY want this ? I like being able to access the memory stick , or backups within 2 clicks of my computer. But if you like ill type it up for you today.

if i had this befor, i might have not lost my MHF save
ohh, i miss thee hr5
XsavioR, have you considered making your application create a virtual hard drive of sorts, the size of the user’s memory stick, that holds all of the info like a virtual MS?
What I mean by this is, a placeholder. That way if I have, say, a 2gb memory stick and a 10gb hard drive (I actually do >_
only 10gb on your harddrive? YOUR COMPUTER REALLY FUCKIN SUCKS!
Yea seriously, what the hell are you running?? lmao
lol,my computer itself kicks ass. I have 330gb total hard drive space. BUT, I had a hardware failure of my 60 gb hard drive and had to install win XP to my old xbox hard drive and use it in my sisxty’s stead. But yeah, this hard drive does suck…imagine having to watch that damned pie chart so closely… T_T
330, lol. You need a terrabyte these days..
Doing this would really only benifit the utils folder. But if you did that it could/would stop your podcast dl, and you would lose content. it would also stop you from backing up every thing on a ms if it thought it was smaller.
Good work, useful… I won’t use it ;)
This is some sweet software. Thanks.
Freak i only 80 gb -.-
i would use it but None of my HDD’s have C:/ so i can’t even try it :(
you can now :)
just uploaded it to http://tinyurl.com/2znfxa dam it i think it is the wrong link
