PSP OpenTTD 0.5.0 Final Released
greg | March 14, 2007
Jaime has updated his OpenTTD PSP port to version 0.5.0 final.
OpenTTD is an open source clone of Microprose’s “Transport Tycoon Deluxe” with the added touch of some homebrew magic — you can even play it online! The official OpenTTD project can be found over at openttd.org. One of my personal favourite homebrews.

OpenTTD-PSP 0.5.0 Final changes:
- Midi custom playlist and midi player segmentations fixed.
- Code updated to 0.5.0 final version.
- Feature: Add the ability to load newer TTDP games (the tile information for coasts has changed) (r8738)
- Feature: Selecting “end of orders” and deleting will delete all the vehicle’s orders (shared mode unchanged) (r8685)
- Codechange: Call GetFirstVehicleInChain only for trains thus increasing performance in large games (r8744)
- Fix: Possible crashes, problems with aircraft and airport removal (r8921)
- Fix: Do not show the ‘edit sign’ window for spectators (r8808)
- Fix: Adhere order types for ship order insertion to determine destination type (r8802)
- Fix: It was possible to take over buoys by building a station next to them (r8794)
- Fix: Cloning unaware of articulated locomotives that could refit without refitting the front unit (r8777)
- Fix: Loading times for overhanging trains are miscomputed (r8709)
- PSP dedicated servers upgraded to 0.5.0
Have a look at README.txt for everything you need to know. Firmware 1.50 and 3.xx OE are supported.

Or this one if you want to play on windows.
Great!!!
Its ever so nice >:)
Great looks sweet. I hope some one could do this with ROLLER COASTER TYCOOON
Excellent idea. I like Transport Tycoon, but RCT would be a fantastic port for the PSP. This is why I love homebrew.
Funny, when this first came out, openttd for psp, the same things was said. I would want rct for the psp aswell. theres only one problem. the source code was never released for rct, transport tycoon’s was. So if Chris Sawyer would be so kind to send out the source for porting, then we can see rct on the psp!
looks like a very addictive game, going to check this out.
Got it working, but when I tried to enable sound it quit on me. Anybody else have this problem?
why not roller coaster tycoon?
Alphafuck, if you read the above comments, TTDX source code was released, rollercoaster tycoons wasnt.
Chris Sawyer is a god, I remember player TT when I was a kid, and how amazed I was when TTDX was released!
if i downlod this do i need the files from the original game too. or can i just install and play?
gimme a link if i need more files. thanks, i cant wait to play, it looks sweeeeet.
look at the links on top, they are the original games. Transfer the files indicated on readme and you’l be good to go.
i’m tired of seeing this for the past 3 days. someone add another homebrew or something cause this sucks
seriously, shut the fuck up, this is all free so stop whining.

First I want to say - TT have a special place in my hearth, so many hours we played this sweet and addictive game back in the days, thank you all for polishing this port to perfection.
What disturbed me is this. I used to be using this site over that other one (QJ) because you guys was able to filter out commercial teasers and useless plugins from the stream of valuable information plus did not play the death bug with the iso and piracy issue in general, as those guys do. Late development does feel more like a stagnation. You guys need to make your sweet project alive again before you lost even the last loyal visitors. Please do! Thanks.
hmmmm, the files stated in the README are not in the game folder, someone care to help?
