PSP Quake with iR Keyboard!

rein4ce has directed my attention to a video demonstrating the use of the PalmOne IR keyboard with PSP Quake.
I modified psp quake a little so it now uses PalmOne IR keyboard as an additional input device besides psp controls itself. I mainly use it for console and game tweaking. it can also handle normal movement commands and because of a wide IR visibility cone, you can hold it in your hands above it and still type!
just wanted to show you that this nifty keyboard is not completely useless :)
Perhaps it will be available sooner rather than later. Nice work, rein4ce.

I can’t wait for the ir-keyboard to fully impact the psp… I also need to get one. If more apps got the interface it would be an easy sell.

Thats real neat and all, but thats only one demo level, and team emergency exit (team porting quake 2) have dissipeared to my knowledge. =/ i was hoping for the whole thing or online play but i have no clue how to do it myself.
no you could put the whole quake on there i did they only gave you the demo because it is illegal to give you the full thing you have to find that for your self.
yeh, if there will be a mouse mod anytime and the ir mod for “counter strike” (the quake mod). and if the mod will have mutiplayer compability, will have a great game
why, if your using a keyboard, not just play this on a computer?
The same reason I don’t want to play emulators on my computer.

is it just me or does that seem a bit useless on that particular game…not to sound like a complete jackass, but that looked very cumbersome to use without a mouse…the mod is awesome as shit tho so i aint knocking it, but i just think there are better ways to illustrate the ir keyboard…looks like it works like a charm tho….i hope a wireless mouse is in the works for the psp soon

…..not to sound mean or anythng but, im talking about team emegency exits quake 2 port project, i already have the full version of it, DUH it was never publically released as finished and successley ported (changed code to work with psp) thanks
