This was emailed to me no more than 10 minutes ago — Team C+D’s 3.30 PSAR Dumper, responsible for dumping & decrypting Sony’s latest 3.30 firmware!
You know the usual routine by now: Sony releases a new firmware strengthening security, shortly thereafter it’s decrypted by a talented team of hackers, and perhaps — just maybe — a custom firmware revision will follow. Until then, keep checkin’ back — same Dashhacks time, same Dashhacks channel!
Thanks Mario!

I bet you’re constantly refreshing StrmnNrmn’s blog in hopes Daedalus R10 will suddenly appear; I know because I’ve been doing the same thing. Well, my last refresh shows R10 is near — the count down begins!
StrmnNrmn’s latest indicates Daedalus R10 will be released in the coming days, dig this…
Although R10 will be a smaller update than R9, there are some great improvements (most of which I’ve already talked about):
- An approximate 10-15% speedup
- Frameskip, framerate limiting and stick deadzone tuning
- Various small bugfixes
I’m hoping to have everything ready by Sunday afternoon at the latest.
Ooooooh yeah!
Comments (86)Update: As requested from myself, and a few others, XsavioR aims to please with Ms Master 2.02f — you can now specify a different installation path! Hooray!
2.02f changes:
Update: “Ms Master 2.02e” is now available with support to backup / restore your “seplugins” folder only; in case you hose your plugins by whatever means, why wait for the whole MS to backup, right? ;)
2.02e changes:
It’s always best practice to format the memory stick (MS) prior to flashing a new [custom] firmware to your PSP. It’s even wiser to create regular backups to ensure no data loss or corruption. So why not keep yourself disciplined with XsavioR’s newly introduced “MS Master” application. It’s very easy, and actually quite useful.

Ms Master 2.02d Compact provides a sophisticated backup / restore method which supports the following:
You must accept the default installation directory, otherwise paths won’t register properly; but that’s minor.
To install: Run Msmaster2.0.exe then Desktop.exe. Connect your PSP, run “Bind MS” from the Desktop, follow the instructions, and disconnect / reconnect your PSP thereafter. The rest should be straight forward; run “Ms Master” from the desktop or right click the PSP removable drive from “My Computer.”
