Stream tunes in style over Shoutcast-enabled servers with the latest release of Raf’s PSPRadio. And if you’re not within range of a wireless spot, you can listen to mp3s & ogg tracks from the memory stick.
PSPRadio 1.15.1283 is fully compatible with OE custom firmwares. Depending on your OE configuration you will need to copy the binaries to their respective directory… i.e.) if 3.xx OE is configured to run 1.50 homebrew from the “GAME” folder, then place PSPRadio in “GAME303″ or “GAME310.” Otherwise, copy to “GAME” if 1.50 kernel required apps/games are running from “GAME150.” Get it? This is configurable through the Recovery Console.
New features:
- Core: Added AUTOSTART option under USB, instead of it being its own option, and using up screen space.
- Core: Better Suspend/Resume support.
- Core: Added Tell/Seek functions to the streams/decoding. Added support to resume to continue playing where it was before it went into suspend mode (localfiles).
- Core: Buttons can now be mapped. Look at PSPRadio.cfg for details. Changed the default mappings. SQUARE=CANCEL now. L+R cycle screens. (Button combinations are now also allowed).
- Core/Plugin/Version: Changed the interface to .15. Working on a revamped interface. (will be .2). TextUI uses the button mapping to remap buttons if the skin is configured to do so (look at SHOUTcastScreen.cfg for an example).
Bug fixes:
- Core: USB is now working again, thanks to AhMan’s for the help.
Known bugs:
- Core: Static IP connections don’t work correctly. Seems the gateway is not used as it should.
- Core: Module unloading doesn’t free up all memory correctly. Even though plugins can now be loaded/unloaded, the PSP can eventually crash as it runs out of memory (after loading/unloading enough times; even though I switched back and forth between the text and 3d UIs over 20 times, and everything worked fine).

Yes, first! This ismy first time! Will this works for 1.5 too?
Only when your post doesn’t include “Yes, First”
Will have to try this one out, not much into using my PSP as a music player though:)
This tool would be perfect if peercast was supported
As anyone tried to register in the forum? I can’t…
why does it always freeze when opening peers???
Still doesnt work.
keep up the scene !!! good work raf and thanks !!!
my psp freeze when i exit
but it still good
Freezes at the opening…..
freezes when i open it 3.03OE-C
i found that it works best for the oe people if you go into the recovery menu and put the psp in the 3.xx kernel. And place this in the folder the says “game” this is an awesome program, im listening to the radio and its pretty sweet.
Dude, just copy the entire “PSPRadio” file to “GAME3xx” if you use OE custom firmware. Thats it. If you use 1.50 however, it wont work. You would have to convert the EBOOT file so that it would. And it works on 1.00 too. Fuckin noobs.
calm down they were just asking for help…. u dont have to get all mad…..
A good suggestion for the next version is put in a sleep timer so you can go to sleep listening to tunes, or set it up as an alarm clock and stream music. I’d personally would prefer to use it at bedtime, cuz currently, it would just play all night till I notice it’s still running in the morning.
This doesn’t work aswell as it used to… for me, when I am streaming music and it has to stop and buffer I’m then listening to the music twice, its playing what it had cached (I guess) and then what its now caching…. it didn’t used to do that… How can I reach Raf?? Dammit thats the annoying thing about homebrew.
i dont use psp radio because i was never able to connect to my access point and listen to music. but my internet browser for psp works
Me too, but then it was resolved when i realized that port 8000 was blocked on the firewall/router. Have a look and try to open 8000-9000 ports on your wireless router, Should work.
this version is shit
always freezes at startup
