You’ve read about it over and over again, and now, we at PSP Hacks are proud to present, Daedalus R9 — the one and only N64 emulator for the PSP. StrmnNrmn has devoted a significant amount of time and work into this… ahhh… I’ll shut up now — here it is…

OK READ THIS FOR Super Smash Bros. info on how to get the rom past the start screen, it still dosent run very well but I at least got it to the stage in practice mode, and it didnt show the characters just the 3 floating platforms but anyway Select the SSB rom then turn on the expansion pack, Diable Dynamic Recompilation, and turn Texture Update Check to Every Frame and that will get it farther than most of what yall have gotten but like I said in its current state it is unplayable it loads up fine but it dosent show the characters but when you move the screen moves so you know they are there. Someone way below me said, and I agree this is pretty much a beta the compatability is still low but it is really coming along from what it was, But what I found odd was that so far from what I have seen SSB and Sin and Punishment ran better on the R9 Spiff up which I found very strange
THIS IS RIDICULOUS!! You have been working on this for at least one year now and it’s still not working, these are just minor adjustments and not really a difference from the first release, it is still unplayable, audio is horrible. We need someone to else this poor sap out.
I dont see you guys working on this…I could see your point if you have endorsed him… but you should shut your mouths because you have nothing to bring to the hacking scene please do no post any more comments like this unless you have a Emulator that works.

yeah, and mario64 works great, and you can save it. so does ridge racer64, and a bunch of other games. just live with it right now untill the next version comes out

If you have a custom firmware, put it in your GAME150 folder…If you have 1.5 firmware, put it in GAME folder
The World Is Not Enough works well…much better than I expected. It is slow, like I expected, but…just try it out…definately a SUPER MAJOR improvement! THANKS

i don’t get this emulator. It works just like the other N64 emulators. Did i do something wrong? I’ve tried messing with the settings, but i don’t know how to save them. Does Zelda OOt work well for you guys?

I found I was able to go a little bit farther by turning on the thing where it checks the frame update rate like every 2 frames.
Someone try Ridge Racer 64…It works pretty well. It has minor choppy-ness. It is totally playable with sounds (choppy sounds). This emulator has come a LONG way. Some more work, and this will be like gold.
This emulator is very promising. I can’t wait for future updates where someday the N64 roms will run just as good as the PlayStation games do on the PSP.

Mario64 runs really fast too depending on how much stuff is on the screen.

umm ya, i put it in my GAME150 folder and i’m running 3.10 OE-A’ and its not working… i get as far as it boots up then a blue screen but then i push buttons and nothing happens, then it shuts off my psp =/ any help? am i doing it wrong?
Try turning off then holding R then going to configuration->put game kernel to 1.50
Or you could just get the 1.00 boot files and put it in game folder. The OE firmwares were designed to work for the original 1.00 eboots. And yes it works, I tested em.
do you know if the 1.0 version of R9 works BETTER than the 1.5 version at all? have you tried them both? im curious about that…

you have to put roms in the from folder and if you dontknow where the from folder is it is in the
Daedalus folder. also make sure you kenel is at 1.50 and if you dont know where to get roms go to coolroms.com i hope this helps
