CWcheat Database Editor v1.60

greg | February 10, 2007

Earlier this afternoon Pasky updated his CWCheat database editor to v1.60. To make your job easier v1.60 includes a hexadecimal calculator with base converter. And while simplifying things even further, you can now download the latest CWCheat database directly. Plus do much, much more…

CWcheat Database Editor v1.60 Screen shot

v1.60 changes:

  • Now able to download the latest official CWcheat database directly and open it for editing at user discretion.
  • Base convertor added to the hexadecimal calculator for those that don’t know how to convert decimal to hex very well.
  • Icons have been cleaned up, interface should have a crisper look than before.
  • Shrinked the size of the loading forms, I thought they were unnecessarily big.
  • Large database files are loaded slightly faster.
  • More bug fixes. (It’s a given….=P)

Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 required — download here.

Cheat is for freaks.. So how do I convert .db file into prx?

Comment by Pasky

You don’t. You use the CWcheat prx which loads this database file automatically (granted that you placed the database file in the correct folder).

This is dumb, I’m sick of seeing updates for a program thats so entirely useless.

Stupids, i’d rather see firmware advancements than this.

This program is useless for someone who’s a noob in searching cheat and doesn’t understand hex and decimal. I think it’s best to incorporate something to inject Action replay codes into the cheat database.

I didn’t write this application specifically for people who don’t know how a cheat engine works, it’s purpose isn’t for someone without knowledge of how memory editors to be able to open it up and go at it. It’s to make it easier to maintain an edit large database files cleanly while making mundane tasks such as adding multiple codes less of a pain in the rear.

I have written a program that will convert cheats from CMGSCCC to a database file. This is not made for ‘n00b’s as you put it.

bakaplayer, you said it man and I absolutely agree. I only have Final Fantasy codes(I’m talking PSX ofcourse) that came with the cheatpops.db and some MGS that I found online….no clue how to do my own.
