Here’s an alternative method to wirelessly transfer files to/from your PSP over a FTP connection; it’s actually based on ZX-81’s PSP-FTPD work.
Luiz Pestana’s PSP WiFile runs in user mode so there’s no risk of bricking, and even though it lacks a readme, it’s incredibly easy to use. The EBOOT is only compatible with OE custom firmware, so ensure you copy it to the correct GAME directory.
PSP WiFile supports DHCP and WPA. The device’s IP address will be displayed on the screen, so you’ll know where to connect. :)

Some people might care even though you don’t. I don’t have a wireless router anymore so not really interested at the present time, but maybe in the future.

could this be the beginning of wifi media streaming? … to the guy that said “Nobody cares”, I do. this could lead to an alternative to the Sony LocationFree Player, a much cheaper alternative.

PSP OE is based on 1.5fw. So it can only use WEP security on 1.5fw. (WPA is not supported on 1.5fw). I will recommend all of you to use ZX-81’s PSP-FTPD on your OE fw.
so i just connect using an ftp client??
it would be better if you could play them from you ftp like you can through you pc :D
